OYO The Dzong Retreat — Hotel in Sikkim

I request guys NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. Never book hotels through OYO . We booked our room through OYO in this hotel .we paid money for our booking.they confirmed our booking.at the last moment just before check in they cancelled our booking .we were with my kid and my old age parents. I can't express my situation.we came here to enjoy our vacation.just for their carelessness we had to suffer. I don't know who is responsible for all this things. OYO or This Hotel . Please guys you must CHECK ALL REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING any hotel. Before booking this hotel I saw a review in this hotel's reviews site about same problem booking cancel waiting for refund.but I thought one BAD REVIEWS doesn't effect anyone's tour.so we went ahead for booking .we called OYO about our problem they confirmed from the hotel that our booking was cancelled.then OYO booked another 2 rooms WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. We got message from OYO that they SHIFTED our booking to ANOTHER HOTEL WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. After receiving that message we called OYO again we told our problem.one of their OYO executive told us that they will start their refund process . but our OYO was showing that our booking still not cancelled.so again we called OYO then they asked us to cancel the booking. So we cancelled our booking form our phone . After cancellation we got message from OYO NO REFUND for cancellations.now this is the situation .our money is gone our vacation is spoiled . What should I call is it a cheat fund . OYO or OWNER anyone...

Well a mixed review here. Really awesome things: brilliant view as this hotel is on the hill top. East facing rooms, beautiful mornings. Near rumtek monastry and other tourist places. Awesome food served, lovely breakfast and tea was amazing. Not so good things: we, a group of 10, reached here at 9.30pm and the restaurant kitchen was closed. Rooms balconies have access throughout though you have doors to the balconies. Some rooms did not have locks from inside. Smoking smell in some of the rooms. If you need a room heater, you have to notify one day prior. Some rooms' toilet hygiene was questionable.

My view: manager cooked us lovely dinner as we reached late though the cook was unavailable. Staff was cooperative. Suites were huge and 180° view of the valley.

In short: Mesmerising views from rooms and awesome food 😘😍. Reach the hotel before 6pm as the road to this place is lonely. Check for toilets hygiene before you check...

Dear friends,||I booked 2 rooms for my family in this useless hotel through OYO.Just when I was about to check in at this hotel I got a recorded message from OYO at 10 am that the booking has been cancelled .Then I tried to contact OYO found no help only talks from the so called OYO representative s.So I booked another hotel through OYO Tatshe Continental in Gangtok.After reaching this hotel found the hotel is locked and no one there.So finally I cancelled my trip to gangtok only to head back to Siliguri.For your information I have paid full amount in these hotels.My 8000 ta is stuck with these hotels and OYO .Hence my advice to you all is never book through OYo and these 2 hotels .They have no ethics or morality.But they very well know how to...
