I booked first floor Mavval family suite 3 bedroom room at Ezhilagam Kutralam cottage. Cottage was situated at Vairam Nagar between main falls and five falls. It was very pleasant and rooms were neat and very clean. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days in the Mavval family suite room ( non A/C ). One bed room with balcony and other two bedrooms don't. Very beautiful rooms. Morning time seeing the mountain view from balcony(1st floor) wow !! it was very really amazing and clouds are slowly moving over the mountains and can't express in words you should come and feel it. Also during rain time and seeing fantastic view of mountains & clouds. We covered most of the falls from this place not so far.

Don't miss to visit 2nd floor Sit-outs. Best Sit-outs for clicking photographs. comparing with other cottages in Vairam Nagar, This is the best cottage for stay and night view of cottage was Awesome. I would suggest this is the best place and comfortable to stay with families having count of 7 members not beyond that. Staffs are cool & helpful and well maintained property.

Amenities: They provided sofa , solar heaters, chairs, small dinning table and cleaning rooms regularly and changing bed cover and bed sheets two days once. Wifi connection was good & having very good coverage in Hall not in bedrooms. Smart tv with subscription was awesome. They providing free RO drinking water. So no worries. They providing tea ( based on your request with charges ), scotter vehicle (for travel to buy things if needed with charges) No foods in cottage if needed request care taker they will provide home meals or hotel foods based on your request. They providing laundry services with charges if you need.

Action to take : Bedroom with balcony - Balcony Door handle was broken already so need repair and informed care taker to look at it.

Thrilling Experiences: We got trilling experiences when we stayed due to kutralam monkeys roaming here and there. No probs for us. if you are standing outside & food in hand we should be very careful anytime monkey will come and grab it. Don't feed anything to monkeys when you are in balcony.

cottage to Main falls less than 1 kms cottage to Five falls 3 kms cottage to Border parotta 5.6 Kms cottage to echo park 3.5 km. Good place for those who loves gardening. Not for others cottage to Tenkasi new bus stand 7.3 kms

Foods: All are affordable prices. walkable Distance from Ezhilagam Kutralam : Veg/non veg hotels available near by main falls. Breakfast best mess -Murugan mess Veg hotel for lunch - Akshaya Dinner - Narayanan mess Need Auto/Cab: Non veg best hotel - Rahmath...

Merits first: excellent clean room and wash room spic and span cleanliness in toilets Wonderfull view from the balcony I stayed in mullai it's was just breathtaking.. but balcony size is pretty small Providing and clothes hanger in the balcony for drying was a very good touch Spacious sit out is available in the room entrance to spend some time with the nature Spacious built in wardrobe Very reasonable pricing Demerits: Hot water was jus warm not hot enough to feel it and the water flow from the tap or shower is too low.. it took 20 minutes for a bucket to fill The blanket which they provided is more of polyester or nylon mix.. it's generates more antistatic current when u r covering and moving around.. providing an cotton or wool blanket would improve the standards The charging socket at the door entrance is too high could have given a small shelf below it or providing an small table in the room would be good enough do some small packing jobs Max one car can park in the parking or two small cars but outside there are spaces available but during season time it might be crowded and parking can be tiresome

Final comments: for the price we pay we get more than comfortable room.. very clean and well maintained.. particularly the washroom was very well maintained. It's very well adequate for a couple for couple of nights and a wonderfull choices...

We were a group of around 35 members who stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days, vacating just yesterday. It was a truly wonderful experience. The ambience of the place is excellent, and the cleanliness maintained throughout the hotel is commendable.

The staff were all very friendly and polite, making our stay even more comfortable. The rooms were spacious, and the food served was of great quality — as hygienic and tasty as homemade meals.

The location is also a big plus, with the Main Falls being in close proximity. The views from the property are absolutely scenic — we thoroughly enjoyed sipping coffee while relaxing on the balcony.

They also provide convenient amenities like washing machine and fully functional Wi-Fi services. Even drying clothes was made easy with well-thought-out arrangements.

What made it even better is that all these comforts came at a very budget-friendly price. We had a great time and wholeheartedly appreciate the service. Best wishes to the team for continuing...
