ALOKA STAY INN VELLORE — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

This is the best value for money for a comfort stay in Vellore. Thank you to Krishnamoorthy Sir, Venkat Sir, & Francis Anna for going out of their way in accommodating my friend and myself. I needed to also get a suitcase full of laundry done from travelling. Though most places were closed due to the lockdown, they called several laundromats and arranged one that picked up immediately upon check-in and delivered to my door within 24 hours. That's what I call providing first class service. Shajik Anna's room service was stellar as well - being dependable, speedy, and even going outside to obtain any special requests.

I stayed in the luxurious Suite room of 380 square feet, which had extra space with sofas and table for lounging, having breakfast/lunch/dinner, laptop workstation or studying for students. Even their Premium rooms come standard with a king bed, and 300 square feet of spacious comfort, which no other hotel in Vellore offers for their standard rooms. Complimentary breakfast (dosa/idlis/coffee) was simple, yet excellent. The room, bathroom, and hotel itself were very clean, WiFi and all toiletries were available, and the lighting in the room gave it a warm ambiance perfect for a family or couple. The restaurant on the ground floor adds convenience. The location is easily reachable due to the double road and CMC Hospital is a 5 minute shared auto ride (20 rupees) from the hotel. My only suggestion is adding holders for shampoo etc in the shower.

Value for money. I was searching for a decent 3 star hotel near vellore on the way to melvisharam ranipet dist. I had seen some not so good reviews, so my expectations were less. But this hotel amazed me. Room was spacious. Breakfast was complimentary and nice for vegetarians. Poori idli vada pongal 4 dishes juice etc. Service was superb. Especially the staff at reception Mr Selva Kumar (I don't recollect exactly) was very helpful. I checked in at 5.30am day 1. Checkout was 24hrs. I wanted to stay 2 hrs extra. They agreed for a nominal rate of 200 ph. Even 2nd day breakfast they gave with 200 extra. Overall in 27 hrs stay with free tea coffee facilities inside AC king-size bed room neatly furnished and we'll maintained...etc etc it costed me only Rs 3000 overall. Amazing . I usually don't take time to give reviews but in thia case I throught I must. As a person who check reviews given by others for my decision making, if I don't do it? I'm happy to give 5/5 rating for this hotel considering the cost. I don't mean that it's all perfect but I was fully satisfied. May not be with everyone. Thank you for reading my lengthy review.
