Kookal is a beautiful village on the outskirts of Kodaikanal, and there is a lake here in between the Jungle surrounded by mountains. There are 1 or 2 small Maggie and omelette shop. While going towards mannavanur from poombarai there is a right cut from where this lake is 6 km. When we went there were a lot of lotus plants over the surface.
