Green Hill Hotel (p) ltd — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

I would like to share my experience during my stay at Green Hill hotel(not only limited to the hotel alone but to the whole Valparai town as well) Mr Dinesh at the Reception had given us a warm welcome and is a people friendly person . I was amazed like whoever I had an interaction (Say it be Mr Dinesh at the Reception,service person Jagadeesh and few others at the Restaurant, sales person in the Family Footwear shop, a butter fruit vendor uncle at the Valparai town road, person at the MRS Bakery and much many people) in the whole Valparai are more down to Earth person and treat people with great respect which gives a positive vibe during our visit Note: Whether you buy something from them or not, whether they get profit out of you or not, they still treat you with the same respect unlike other places. The food at their Restaurant was great and prices were nominal of what we ordered. They are very much keen on Customers expectation/feedback where I Informed the Garlic chicken dry which I have ordered in which chicken was a little too hard, and the service person who was named Jagadeesh immediately mentioned like "no issues we can cancel it". I haven't seen in any hotels where they take the customers feedback seriously ( unlike in other places where they argue or try to convince you that it is good) Also had good experience with other servicemen as well. Hot drinking water was available at the restaurant at free of cost and got our flask filled it up whenever we had food there( it might be a small thing to mention but it's really makes a difference when you are staying in a colder region) When booking for Rooms I would advice people to enquire to hotel directly to in order get the exact price (I have booked the room online for a day through a third party platform which is ofcourse 30% extra than the direct prices) Later when I wanted to extend for one more day, I had done directly at the reception and an easy process which is more affordable . We had no issues with standard room (as the restroom was good and hot water was available and a comfort bed ) as it was a last minute booking online.. but other rooms Deluxe and others where more better as one of my friend mentioned during his stay. Note: tv remote wasnt available and stb remote wasn't working but we haven't reported it to the reception( I assure that if I had mentioned they would have definitely addressed it) Parking: We didn't face any issues as we have parked our bikes which can occupy atleast 10 to 15 bikes in a closed environment and cars as I seen atleast 4 can be parked( I might be mentioning a lesser number as I can't say more than what I saw) Note: I am giving 4 star rating, only for the room which I have stayed but when it comes to the environment staying over there, it's...

We stayed here for 1 night/1 day. The room we stayed in was the super deluxe category. There was not much occupancy during the time we stayed ( being off-season and weekday). The room allotted on the second floor was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and clean linens. The bathroom was also clean. This hotel is located centrally and one of the best budget options to stay ( unless you are looking for a resort atmosphere or a place with a view to the hills or tea estates) in Valparai town as there is limited number of hotels here and most are homestays /lodges/residency kind of. .The hotel have a restaurant on the ground floor that serves local cuisine and with reasonable prices. The parking is limited. ( especially if you are arriving here during lunchtime you might find no space but for staying guest they make way). Looks lke the restaurant is popular among local tourists. The backside rooms on the upper floor have a partial tea estate view. It was nice to walk in the morning to tea estates and the local market just opposite...

Outstanding Travel Experience with Tamilan Trails, Chennai!

We recently travelled to Valparai in April 2025 with Tamilan Trails, Chennai, and it was truly a wonderful and hassle-free experience from start to finish. The entire trip was professionally organized, and everything ran on time without any delays or confusion.
