Bed bugs!!! Had a sleepless night due to bed bugs!

First, the positives:

(1) Nature:  The resort is in the middle of nature. It is surrounded by lush green tea estate. We saw Bison, peacocks, snakes, numerous birds, and uncountable varieties of insects. It was exactly what we expected. So, five out of five stars.

(2) Food: We asked the cook to prepare local food (food that he eats at home). He prepared homely non-veg food for us and we were delighted with the taste. Again 5 out of 5 stars.

(3) Room: Rooms are full of wooden furniture, a bit antique style. If you like antique style, then you will love it. The size is a bit smaller, however, it is comfortable for two. So, no complaints here.

Now the sad part – Bed bugs:

**Bed bugs: I had a sleepless night due to bed bugs. Reported it to the manager. On one hand, he was dismissive, saying that these were mosquitos; on the other hand, he was eager to change the bed. Thankfully, he changed the bed, and the 2nd night was much more peaceful. Mosquito bites and bed bug bites are different and distinguishable. A quick Google search will highlight the differences. BTW, reactions to bed bug bites vary from person to person. It will depend upon the immune system. Again, a Google search will give more info.

Bed bugs is completely unacceptable. It is about health and peaceful sleep. Hence, I am rating it as 1 out of 5 stars. Hope, management will take corrective actions and future guest will not have to...

This place is beautiful, and would definitely recommend it.

It's truly as good as in the photos, if you are looking for something away from the city and chaos, please go here, you will not be disappointed.

Nothing more can be asked for here, the place is in pristine condition, rooms are squeaky clean, toilets are very clean too, the interiors are well thought off, every furniture seems handpicked to match up the colours & theme of the room including the toilets, in the room it doesn't feel cold no matter how low the outside temperature is. A person will feel at home in this place.

Whether you are a family with kids, elders or a couple, you can stay in harmony here, just 6 rooms available which makes the place not so crowded, the place is surrounded with tea estates and small friendly villages on the hill.

I chose to live in the Ooty town the first day, travelled to all the crowded places and stayed here for a night just before heading back home.

The food quality was really good plus you can ask for any kind of reasonable dish and they would get it cooked even if not available in their menu, quantity & food prices were very reasonable.

The care takers are the owners, a very nice couple who were courteous enough to call and check on our arrival day and were waiting outside with a smile along with all the staff, felt very welcoming, I really thank them for their wonderful hospitality.

A place I will definitely visit...

Had a bad experience when I went to the hotel for check-in they said our booking was cancelled from his end. We had all proof that we have booked and confirmed from Agoda. Even when we reached the customer care , there were trying to put in conference but the owner didn't answer the call even infront of us. We waited for more than 1 hr but no response from these. Hence customer care suggested that they will start on replacement. Also they confirmed the booking not sure why the property declined the booking. The owner of the resort told they provide one small room for that booking price to stay. When we reported to police they suggested us better stay since we have baby. Moreover owner didn't provide anything to us. We didn't abuse or anything . But they started to claim all those things to hide their fault. If they had those things they could have told the police the same. Dear users whatever they gona claim it's fake. For your knowledge , kindly update the property number properly in website it's says doesn't exit. User anyway I am not going to stay or refer this place. Just sharing my experience so that you don't get suffered. I doesn't want to take this legally and wasting my valuable time. We didn't left the property just like that police suggested to go for good resort rather than arguing with these people .Hence moved to enjoy the...
