Indian Coffee House — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Horrible experience here. In the morning on the way to OOTY, we stopped here. The breakfast was hot and fresh and we appreciated the server also. In the evening, on our way back home we re-visited the same place but had terrible experience. I ordered Idly vada. The idly was like stone and oil was dripping from vada. I asked the waiter for fresh food and different vada as the idly was like stone and vada was oily. He literally took away the vada from plate, threw it inside a dustbin and arrogantly told , “ Should I serve vada to this lady ? “ and lifted his hands as if he wanted to hit me. The owner of the restaurant was least bothered to make his server ask an apology to the customer. It was such an awful and pathetic experience. WHEN YOU ARE IN A SERVICE INDUSTRY, AND PEOPLE ARE PAYING FOR IT, KINDLY MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE GOOD...

Food was not bad. I felt food was too expensive for a small hotel like this. when asked for menu they did not have so not sure if we were charged extra as we were tourist. Masala dosa costed 80 rupees, coffee 20 rupees and one piece of bajji was 10 rupee. only coconut chutney was provided with masala dosa, for the price I would expect at least tomato chutney as well. there is a veg restaurant called Sasthapuri in this area which has parking facility, washroom, spacious and cleaner than this restaurant which offers the food for almost same price. Since the food was empty in Sasthapuri we visited Indian coffee house. I would not mind paying the price if they had these facility. there is no parking facility, not spacious its a small...

This became one of my favorite breakfast restaurant. Simple but amazing tasting idly and vade. Good Pongal and wonderful coffee to top it. What else is needed in the morning. Parking is absolute no. If u are lucky street parking might be available. Elderly person serving with simile makes the day even wonderful. Female serving staff too holds smile in their face.
