All TGI Hotels and Resorts have a specially created desk set up with Hygiene and safety kit and guests can approach them in case of any requirement like mask or hand sanitizer, etc. • Temperature check of all guests is mandatory before entering the hotel premises, we request all guests to please comply with the purpose of everyone’s safety. • Kindly wear a face mask at all times in the hotel. This is compulsory precautionary step that must be adhered to for everyone’s safety. • Luggage will be disinfected prior to scanning. • Guests in a self-driven car will be requested to park their own vehicles in the designated parking areas. Kairos is an aesthetically designed luxury resort with three elegant villas and 12 tastefully furnished rooms, privileged with a rare, graceful view of the hill valley in a 3.5 acre farm with at least a couple of hundreds of trees and rare plants - most of them flowering and fruit bearing. Kairos is the perfect holiday haven for a group of 50 to 70 persons. Of course, we also welcome smaller families and teams as well. THE SPACE VILLAS: There are three exquisitely designed luxury villas in Kairos. Each of these villas can accommodate 6 to 10 persons. All the villas have a spacious living room, three large bedrooms – two on the ground floor and one on the first floor with an attached toilet in each. All the rooms are elegantly furnished to ensure utmost comfort coupled with taste. There are also two balconies, a sit out, an open terrace and a lush private garden in every villa. The villas can accommodate 25 persons in all. ROOMS: The newly constructed luxury rooms are cozy and snug and can accommodate 2, 3, or 4 persons in each room. All the rooms in the ground floor have individual entrances to ensure privacy and peace. There are six rooms on the first floor with two common hallways. 3 of these rooms open into one common hallway and the other 3 into another. Hence they are ideal nests for a perfect, fun and frolic holiday both for a small family of 3 or a larger family of 6 to 10 people. These 12 rooms can house a group of 30 to 40 persons in all. This is the 2nd time i have gone to this place and i had even better experience. We took 2 premium rooms with balcony view. The rooms were very good and clean. Apart from the greenery around, you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.. Great hospitality from the management team and especially from Mr. Satheesh. The breakfast was fabulous. I would recommend others to visit this place. We have been gone for 2 nights and 3 days Yelagiri TRIP, mainly our plan to stay in a good resort and try to spend time in the resort so we chosen TGI Kairos Resort so now am happy to share my experience here. One of the fantastic resort, ultimate location and excellent ambience. Full of trees and plants. Excellent hospitality and would like to mention the service person names Mr.Shakthi and Mr.Deepak, they are so kind and responsible. Their responsiveness was truly great. Top of that we should not miss to to mention about Mr.Sateesh ( Resort Manager ), such a great person and take care of each and every customer is so grateful and responsiveness and sorting out the issues very quickly and get a confirmation as well. Food,,, wah... So tatsy and feel like a home food. Hats off to the Master. Overall we feel very satisfied with the resort and we are highly recommended if anyone want to stay with cool and calm ambience. Bagavathi Surya. Location is very good rooms services excellent and staffs are very good persons. Found TGI Kairos while looking for two nights accommodation at Yelagiri. Rate they offered was attractive. So, we booked a Premium room for three of us for two nights including breakfast. Booking was done online.

The property is located around 3 kms off Nilavur road, approximately 5 kms from Yelagiri town. It's close to Fundera Bird Park and Selfie Panda. The roads/access to the property is pretty decent.

Accommodation is inside a live garden full of fruit bearing trees like jack fruit, mango, sappotta, etc. Reception is at the lower end near the road side and rooms are at an elevation. Premium rooms are accessible via a flight of stairs while the villas are just below the parking.

Since we visited in summer, first thing you notice is there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Looks like none of their rooms/villas have air conditioning. Once you keep the balcony windows open you get a nice breeze and it's not that bad. But we cannot keep the main door open for cross ventilation since there are big mosquitoes, especially in the evenings. Luckily it rained on the first night of our stay and it was pleasant through the night. But, we had difficulty in sleeping on the second night. Manager Mr. Mani mentioned that they have received lot of feedback and passed them to the management for consideration. By the way, Mr. Mani was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. He also arranged a jack fruit and some mangoes upon on prescribed payment.

Rooms are relatively small for three people. Found the maintenance not very great. The wash basin water faucet was without filter and water was splashing all over. The power sockets were loose.

But, where they score is the quite village location and the abundance of fruit and flowering trees. It's a blessed experience sit in the balcony (though a very small one) any time of the day, surrounded by tree tops and a breeze going around most of time. The place is so quite and away from all noise pollution that we can hear people talking even at far away distance, birds chirping, cocks crow or cows and sheep call.

Breakfast (and other meals) is served to the room on weekdays and om Saturday. Sunday (when there were more guests) breakfast was in the dining hall near reception. Breakfast mainly consist of idli, dosa, vada, pongal(only in buffet), upma(only in buffet), tea, coffee, cut fruits(only in buffet), fruit juice (only in buffet). You can ask for bread and/or omlette which will be served to your room or at the buffet. Food is delicious and service if pretty good. We ordered ala carte dinner twice, mainly fulkas, daal tadka and curd rice. Turned out to be pretty decent.

We felt the room and food rates are slightly more than they are worth.

Overall, a nice place to relax amidst a nice garden ambience, except for air conditioning, small rooms and slightly not good...

Hi Everyone,

Please do not visit this resort. I’m currently staying here, and I want to share my experience to help others avoid the same mistake.

This is not a resort by any standard—it’s run worse than a basic local hotel. We’ve had no power for over an hour, and they switched off the generator instead of turning it on. I tried calling the manager, but their phone is switched off. My baby has been crying non-stop in the dark, and I had to use my phone's torchlight to go to the front reception—no one was there.

Here are some of the major issues we faced:

Terrible service – There’s no phone in the room to contact reception or room service. You must call the manager directly, and network issues make this even harder. There’s no proper Wi-Fi either.

Unresponsive staff – I had to keep complaining from the moment we checked in. Only after multiple complaints did they switch our room.

Self-service for everything – Need drinking water? Walk to the reception and ask. Want anything else? Expect to do it yourself.

False promises about food – We booked the room for two days with complimentary breakfast included, but now they are saying that since no one else is staying here, breakfast is cancelled, and they are charging ₹250 per person for tomorrow’s breakfast. Why should we pay again for something we already paid for? This is misleading and unacceptable.

Poorly maintained amenities – The games and other facilities are in bad condition, and nothing is managed properly.

Basic room issues – No towel, no dental kit, no floor mat when we arrived. The room had a bad odor, and even after asking, they didn’t provide room spray.

We paid over ₹15,000 for two nights, expecting decent service and amenities. This place does not deserve to be called a resort. It’s more like a poorly run budget lodge.

If you’re planning a family trip, please avoid this place. You’ll end up doing everything on your own and regretting your...

Excellent place to stay close to nature and peaceful place. Pros: As mentioned peaceful, close to nature, rooms are neat and clean.Food is prepared fresh. No AJINOMOTO.Homemade spices Hospitality is good. Cons: We have selected package inclusive of breakfast and dinner.Dinner taste was good but quantity was very less. In dinner we have the option of only one starter we were two people so we were given the option to select one veg starter so we selected paneer manchurian they gave only 8 pieces when asked they said that for dinner package only 8 pieces are given and if ordered separately then 10 pieces.Taste was too good. Gravy was too spicy and was tasting little raw masala. They 1st said that its only veg then only when we told that we want non veg then they gave option of non veg gravy. In breakfast also they gave only idli, wada, chutney, sambar and utappam only. Then when we asked for bread omlet they said in room service breakfast they don't give bread omlet.(Its the hotel that said that breakfast will be served at rooms we didn't ask for room service). Then again when we asked they said it's chargeable. We said that its there in all the breakfast then he said ok as a special request we will give without charging for bread omlet. I request to whoever goes there kindly check the menu and ask them what all are included.

TGI Kairos is a beautiful property, in the middle of natural and landscaped greenery. Apart from this, the only other thing worth mentioning about this place is Mr. Mani who handles the front desk. He is so helpful, honest and professional. I booked a stay here with family for 2 days, but cut short my stay and vacated after one day. Reasons? Apart from a makeshift restaurant offering a basic, reasonably priced menu and average tasting food, there is nothing else here. No swimming pool, no intercom in the room (you have to use your mobile to order food or call reception!!), no A/c (don't think yelagiri is cool throughout the year, it gets hot), no internet (consider yourself lucky if you get signal for mobile data) and there is just one lamp to dimly light up the whole room. Yes, there is a 32 inch micromax tv with satellite cable, but we were lucky the connection came on towards the end of India-Bangaldesh ICC match. And, if you feel like killing boredom, there is one open area badminton court which is, of course, very poorly maintained. So, we found this place not at all worthy for the price TGI charges. So go ahead and book this place, if you want to cut yourself away from civilisation and write a novel about it which surely will end up as a sad story.
