I recently dined at The Valley View Restaurant, situated within the Sarvakaya Hill Resort premises. First and foremost, I'd like to highlight that the route to this resort can be quite challenging at night, so I recommend planning your visit during daylight hours for safety. True to its name, The Valley View Restaurant offers a picturesque dining experience with a stunning view of the valley. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant, and my overall impression of the food was positive. To start, we ordered the veg ball Manchurian and honey chilli potato for appetizers, and they were both absolutely delightful. The flavors were on point, and they left us craving for more. Moving on to the main course, we opted for butter naan and pulkhas with Paneer Methi Chaman, which was highlighted as the chef's special on the menu. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. The dish lacked flavor and depth, but it improved slightly after we added some salt and a dash of lemon. We also ordered Dal, which was just average and didn't stand out. One disappointment we encountered was when we requested to have the leftover Dal packed to take with us. Surprisingly, the restaurant staff declined, citing that they don't have the means to pack food. Overall, our dining experience at The Valley View Restaurant was pleasant, with decent food and an exceptional view. However, it's important to note that the service was quite slow during our visit. If you're looking for a restaurant with a fantastic view and don't mind a few hiccups in service and food quality, it's worth a visit.

Went here for lunch by chance before leaving Yelagiri after a trip. Their service is extremely slow, took almost half an hour to get paneer fried rice, whereas french fries and veg pizza arrived after 20 minutes of placing our order. The worst service was for the bill. It was another 20-30 minutes since we asked for the bill. Had to remind them thrice and lastly had to say that we were waiting for the bill and had to start our return journey. Only then they kind of rushed around and got us our bill after another 5 minutes. They definitely have to improve their service.

French fries and pizza were good, but the fried rice was not that good.

The ambience and surroundings are beautiful though. Spotted so many cute little birds around the campus. It has a beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere. The connecting road is pretty narrow and bad,...

This is available inside the Sarvakaya Hill Resort. The roads to reach this place was narrow & steep.

Food was excellent. Ambience was good, but non AC. Indian Breads were good, Dal fry was quite tasty. Briyani was also excellent.

Service wise, it was delayed.

Majority of Main course items would be above 350Rs.

Taste 5/5 Ambience 4/5 Service...
