Kings palace — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Stayed in the Queen Room for a day. The room was very spacious and had a sit out with a beautiful view of the hills. The wardrobe was very huge (maybe too big 😲) and very useful. One word of caution though, too many compartments in the furniture to check at the time of vacating the room. The restroom was very spacious and had a huge geyser. A very well maintained Queen room and the people at the desk are very helpful. Though they do not have an attached restaurant, there is a multi cuisine restaurant adjacent to the hotel where you can get excellent veg and non veg food. Good hotel but Inexperienced staff. Got Non AC room at 900. We took 2 rooms. Phone wasn't working in 1 room, door stoppers were broken in both. The staff told they will check but didn't. First of all standard rooms are not of same size and shape. Some had no room for extra bed and some had smaller bathrooms. However, the hotel was clean and on the main road. Room service was good but had to remind them. The restaurants has good variety in the menu and has good Ambience. It's a bit expensive. I stayed at this hotel for one night and realized after returning home that I had left my multi-pin adaptor in the room. While checking out, the receptionist asked us to wait while a service staff member inspected the room. The staff member returned with something in his hand, but it wasn’t clearly visible. The receptionist took it from him and told us we could leave, without asking if it belonged to us. I am certain the item was my adaptor. Since it was found in the room we stayed in, they should have confirmed with us before keeping it. This reflects very poor service and feels like outright dishonesty.
