Memmsta Santhi Resort - Kodaikanal — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Booked honeymoon room for 3 nights and 1 day. Below are the pro's and cons.

Pros Early checkin Receptionist harish is innocent and he is running around for everything. Balcony view is good Restaurant food taste is ok and healthy.

Cons Marketing team will not respond to your whatsapp messages once the booking is done. Nearby resturant are hazardous, ate chicken noodles and got food poisoned, vomiting, burning sensation, one night sleep gone. Room is very small and you can clearly hear noise from veranda and nearby room, so there is no privacy, so better avoid booking honeymoon room if you are planning to enjoy ur honeymoon. No landline, no exhaust fan in bathroom only a window, no hair drier socket to plug in. Flies will fly around in the restaurant and you cannot eat peacefully. Understaffed. No one will answer your phone at midnight. If theres is an medical emergency you are doomed. Only one chair will be given in the balcony view point. Everything you have to ask. No kettle,...

I would like to be very honest here, the stay was not at all satisfactory. The basic amenities were not proper, no proper toiletries, no kettle, the beds were not clean, the bed sheet and pillow covers were having dirt spots all over, bath room windows broken and easily visible for people crossing, very low windows, frequent power cut, etc.,

Do not get fooled by the pictures and all, not very scenic surrounding too. I would say try some other better place to stay.

No private balcony and it’s common.
