HOTEL EMBASSY — Hotel in Ujjain

We stayed for couple of days in Embassy. Walkable (1.5km) to the temple. Crossing the railway bridge was a bit of a challenge though. Reachable by car. Limited parking available inside the compound. Check-in was smooth. Since we reached earlier, they got one of the rooms ready. Rooms were spacious with the usual amenities like coffee maker, soaps etc. Rooms and bathroom were clean.||Breakfast was included in the package. Breakfast items are limited; however, tasty. They rotate between any two items - Poha, Idli/Vada, Poori, Dosa etc. Banana, bread and a sweet was available along with tea/coffee. Room service is available(probably bringing from somewhere nearby). There are NO restaurants in the immediate vicinity (you have to walk to Shanti Palace or the Railway Over bridge area).||Most major attractions are within walkable distance (2-3km), though you may want to take an auto due to the climate and crowd.||Overall, a good place to stay.||NB: I understand that this is a sister concern of Kalpana Palace, which is closer...

I stayed here for 1 night in Family room which has 3 beds I booked the hotel from Goibibo Location - Situated on Indore road highway Best if you don't want to live in rush and , easily connected with Mahakaleshwar Temple and Ujjain railway station (2 kms)

Service- We reached earlier we waited 20 mins and they gave us our room before Check in time which is great as our train time is bit earlier.

Staff- Receptionist and Manager to Service boys all are friendly, Service was too good , Really recommend this hotel for service.

Breakfast - Amazing breakfast which has Poha , Bread toaster , Dhokla , Puri sabzi , Tea , Coffee , Pineapple Juice , Tasty Buffet (Highly recommend)

Only drawback is there menu of food is little higher than other if you want to order late , you should prepare your dinner to bought from nearby hotel which is 1km I recommend Shipra...

Rooms and location are okayish, but management is extremely money-minded and does not care about customers. I booked a room at midnight through a booking site, but due to the timing, the date rolled over. When I arrived, the staff denied my check-in, saying my booking was for the next morning. I requested any available room, but they claimed no premium rooms (the category I had booked) were available. Left with no option, I had to take a "family room," and they charged me ₹1,350 extra. The shocking part? They eventually allotted me the exact same premium room I had originally booked, after making me wait in the lobby for 30–40 minutes. This was nothing short of a deliberate attempt to overcharge and cheat a customer. Very disappointing experience, despite the good rooms...
