Braj Villas Family Suits — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Do NOT stay in this hotel. Very little actually works. The staff are unhelpful and do not care. ||They messed up our booking and tried to tell us it was our fault. We had booked 2 rooms but were only given 1 room with 2 slightly separate areas. ||The showers were not hot and there was no water at all in one bathroom. We complained and various people came up and twisted knobs and said there was hot water. Wrong! Then they said they would get a plumber. ||We had an unwrapped fridge in our room waiting to be installed, along with the air conditioning still in its wrapping and wires hanging out of the wall waiting for a tv to be installed. All seem d a little unfinished! They sent 2 people to our room to install the tv, I think in an attempt to compensate us for the water not working. We asked them to go away as they were just disturbing us and we did not want the tv. We wanted hot water. ||Finishings around one bathroom door fell off when the bathroom door closed, crashing into the very grubby bathroom floor. One room had no bedside tables and nowhere to place belongings. ||Various lights did not work. There were no glasses in the rooms. I asked for an additional towel but was told we had our hquota so was not allowed another - didn't really matter as I probably wasn't going to have shower. There was no restaurant and no wifi. Beds were hard and linen was not clean. The locks on the doors didn't work. || It was hard to ascertain how long this hotel had been in business, however our room and very possibly other rooms in the hotel were not finished and should not have born rented. I suspect they were wanting to capitalise on the holi visitors. What would Krishna think of that? ||We were not happy to pay the 6000 rupees original price as we were only given one room and it wasn't in good shape as so much did not work. Negotiating the final price the following morning was unpleasant - we were told we should have complained the day before. We did - several times. ||What was good about this place? The location was ok and not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. It has the potential to be a good hotel if they fix all the things that do not work - and if they be nicer to their guests.. but mostly It will make a great story for us all for...

I had a truly disappointing experience during my stay at this property. The room was handed over without a working flush in the bathroom, and it took two follow-up calls before a technician finally came to fix it. There was no mosquito repellent provided, which made the stay uncomfortable.

When I ordered a meal, there was no table in the room. One was brought only when the food arrived. Even then, the food quality and hygiene were very poor. The rice was cold and dry, the rotis were rubbery, and the meal was delivered uncovered in low-grade disposable containers with a wooden spoon. No proper cutlery or plates were provided.

The overall cleanliness was below standard. The room and curtains were dirty and poorly maintained. To make things worse, there was no electricity after midnight, leaving the room and bathroom completely dark, without even a working fan or light to get ready in the morning.

Adding to the unprofessional experience, the staff insisted on taking cash payments for both room rent and food bills, a clear indication of tax evasion.

This is not a hotel but a poorly managed rented apartment posing as one. I strongly advise avoiding this place. It is unhygienic, unorganized, and not worth the money. Choose any other...

HONEST REVIEW ABOUT BRAJ VILLAS FAMILY SUITES !!

I am rating this property 3 stars because the property is a lil outer from the main market and temples but nearest to prem mandir …i have stayed in 2bhk suite but don’t get fooled by the word suite bcoz it was like a rented apartment or airbnb …property is very nice and spacious and very cheap for its price but not maintained at all … all the taps , shower heads ,jet sprays n etc everything was rusty and had moss on it (kaai) and some of the walls had dampness ( mold / silan) don’t order from there in house kitchen because you’re gonna regret it and if you’ll call on reception that uncle is gonna hangup your call in between your complain call (which was very annoying) but will surely send someone to help you out ASAP (max 20 mins) overall experience was okay according to the price bcoz we paid 4500 for 1 night for 8 person and that’s the only good part of the property and they provided us extra mattress n pillows etc and bedding was good and ac was great … according to the price we can’t expect much but they should really maintain this property!!! N i would highly recommend it if...
