I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Kalawati Palace, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home.

The hotel's decor is elegant and tasteful, creating a comfortable and welcoming ambiance. My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities, ensuring a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a dream every night.

The hotel's staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable and memorable.

The hotel is overly priced. There are so many mice in the hotel. Also there is no dustbin in the washroom, no kettle, no soap-shampoo, no tissue, no toilet papers , no parking ..nothing is provided. The response timing of the staff is very bad. Thing said to be done in an hour takes minimum 3 hrs. The mice reside inside the cupboards, electric sockets and other such places. They keep making sounds whole day. They also cut the stuffs especially the wooden ones of the hotel room. The jets in all the rooms were very harsh and poor .The managers are very unresponsive and adamant. The whole staff lies on the pretext of defending their unresponsiveness.They keep on quarrelling and lying. No cleanliness is done. Everything is smelling and dusty. The bedsheet and pillow cases seem like they are not washed since weeks. The hotel has poor staff , they don't even carry the luggage, and they keep peeping till the time you yourself lock the door . Very bad hotel. They charge 3700+ rupees for a day however it's not even worth 1500 rupees. Rooms were spacious but not properly cleaned. Due to time constraints, we couldn’t complain. We had booked 3 rooms; the beds and sofas were dirty. The biggest issue was the hotel’s lift. There was only one slow lift, and we had to wait a lot for it. The stairs are on the opposite side of the lift, and you have to go through a plywood showroom’s warehouse to use them.

Overall, the stay was just okay. Given the hotel’s condition, the tariff seemed quite high. The staff was nice, and the manager was polite. However, the hotel owner seemed greedy, charging Rs. 500 to put bedding in a small waiting room in front of the plywood showroom for our driver.

An overall okay experience with some major cleanliness and logistical issues. Not great value...
