I am giving one star rating because there is nothing lower. I had booked their best room for five days ie from 23 Aug to 28 Aug 2019 through OYO. The room was found stinking and dirty. After expressing my inability to stay in such a room, the management assured me that the room would be cleaned up in 15 minutes. It took them half a hour. When I enterred, the stink was still there and there were hair on the bed, pillow and even on the telephone. But by then I had orderred breakfast - in which half burnt Paranthas were served. The egg bhujia was equally tasteless and cold. I was fed up and late for my meeting. I left after informing the management that the room was still dirty and and should be cleaned by evening ie before my return. Their was no change in the condition of the room when I returned. When I complained to the management again, I was told that I should have physically checked the room before booking. Making no headway I decided to check out of the hotel at 7 PM on that day itself, after paying them one days rent. I have the bill as proof. Next day I received an SMS from OYO informing me that my booking has been cancelled as I did not show up at the said hotel. My sincere advise to the unsuspecting traveller - Stinking dirty rooms, tasteless food and rude staff is a combination to be avoided at all costs. Even if you have to go searching for a hotel at 7 PM, it is still advisable to avoid Kamesh Hut. Don't trust OYO ratings and...

Read moreThis hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes auto ride from the town center. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great sleep. The room was clean, was equipped with a cold a/c, ceiling fan, television and bathroom with fans. That's a great change from the majority of budget hotels we have stayed at in India. |The menu at the restaurant offers traditional, some Chinese fare, as well as a few non- traditional items for breakfast. Everything we had was delicious. We actually preferred the hotels food compared to some of the restaurants we had tried in the city center. The bed was a little hard for our liking, but it was tolerable. It's also worth noting, that there's a few little snack shops around, and a pharmacy about 5 minutes walking distance. If you don't mind being a bit aways form the town center, this is definitely a great spot to stay. We really appreciated how quiet it...
