Hotel Manas Continental — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

I was travelling with my 7 year old Dog (Golden Retriever) from Delhi and had to halt at Gorakpur for the Night. I had contacted 2-3 hotels for a pet friendly stay, and most of them refused, however when I contacted this one, the manager asked how big is the dog to which I told he a normal size dog, and the manager agreed to let him stay provided he doesn’t damage the room for which I told him that he is a good dog and most likely will sleep because of the long journey. This discussion which took place at 11 in the morning made us happy as it looked like a decent hotel. On reaching at 8:30 in the night tired after driving for 12 hours, when I reached at the hotel, the new manager denied us boarding saying that pets are not allowed. I told him that I had already discussed with the previous manager about the previous manager and he had accepted the dog. On calling the previous manager, he said I didn’t agree for the grown up dog, I accepted a normal dog. I told him he is a normal dog, which I told him on the phone, he started saying I thought he was a puppy. I implored him asking where should we go, it’s not that a lot of places are pet friendly in Gorakhpur, he should have refused me in the morning and I would have managed some other place, and of course all of this was in vain. And with this, they refused us Accomodation at 9 in the night, the curfew coming at 11, and in a place like Gorakhpur where there was no much scope for finding another place to stay. Tooooooooo much expensive as compared to the service they provide. They don't talk to the guests politely and are unwilling to help until and unless so kind of payment is involved. Pathetic experience. The rooms were filled with insects and I am talking about the most expensive room of this hotel Manas Suite. It costed me around 6500 for 1 night without any meal. Don't even consider this hotel guys if you wanna save your money. The rooms are just good looking as AC stops working without any reason anytime. The expensive food which I ordered was tasteless as it only looked good and was having no flavours so bad experience in that too. Consider some other hotel they will provide far more better service than them at such price. For comparison you will get a 3star hotel in metro cities at half of the price they...

I think this is one of the premium hotel in Gorakhpur city. The main advantage of this hotel is the location.❤️ It's just opposite of the Gorakhpur Railway Station (Gate No: 2).

Now coming to the facilities and the price. Yes, initially it's looking like bit costly but I think whatever accommodation and facilities they have provided at their price point, it's fully value for money.💸

Rather than this for food, cleaning, stuffs behaviour and management I am giving 5 out of 5 star because they truly deserve it.👍

So Finally I would always recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Gorokhpur city or coming here for your office purpose or exam purpose, you may stay here.
