Let me start with the plan It was my sisters birthday and she was confused between Park street and Rangrezza. I had visited Park street [ good one] in the past and thought let me try something new n opted Rangrezza. Went inside and found the ambiance really Attractive and Nice.Got a nice mood and ordered 2 shakes and a cutlet waited for 20 minutes. Order dint come i thought as it’s taking so much time for shake let me order the Sizzler as I finish my dinner early.especially I called the waiter (Vinod )for the order waiter told me he can only take the order once the previous order comes to the table I was shocked and continued waiting . . . soon the waiter came with 1 Kit Kat shake I thought he heard only one shake I called him to confirm but he ignored me and went After 8 to 10 minutes he came with the second shake and my small kid (nephew) was still waiting for the shake and we both shared the first one waiting. Now the turn was for the cutlet Which came shockingly quick but with no salt 🧂 I lost my temper [ WHICH IS RARE AS I HAVE LOT OF PATIENCE YOU CAN MAKE OUT FROM THE SIZE OF THIS REVIEW 😂]. and called the manager and clearly told him .. .. “Boss your owner has invested so much money on the restaurant and hired you to manage and if you can’t do that Why don’t you tell him so that he can replace you, I strictly told him “I am not gonna pay for the 2 shakes and change the cutlet” he was very polite and did it immediately with best effort.. .. .. I became normal and quite . . Later my sister and her other guests joined and we changed the table and something similar happened and they all got pissed off completely, Waiters are the boss dere and they were not even listening when called ( which I never saw in any restaurant across the globe)
[Message to the owner] Escalations are the part of business and it happens everywhere but let me tell you Sir/mam, dere is something seriously wrong happening at your restaurant as staffs are giving village dhaba style service [you charge premium]I am sure you are aware of this because you own that place..
but please be aware of this as well👇 If you don’t change few of your staffs [ Especially Vinod and short statured manager] every premium customer will give you left right and centre [already happening]
We thought we will talk to you the next day and clear the bill with some negotiation and I went to share my identity and contacted your manager [Mr. Attitude short statured guy] but he denied to take my contact because he already knew my sister and her proffesion so we walked off later after few minutes he came with cops near our house because he lacked professionalism. Read moreBooked the Party Hall in the restaurant section for 35 guests at my daughters birthday party on feb 14th.
Don't know how & why the place has such a massive crowd gatherings and positive reviews, with the food being just average. Except the soup and starters nothing was exceptional in the food's category, everything was just average.
They asked for 2500 INR to decorate the Hall with 200 balloons, i said can't we do it ourselves for which they replied we don't allow anything from outside. I said that i have already ordered 50 balloons and a Happy Birthday foil for which they agreed to use but with an additional amount of 1000, i said okay fine. Then i asked at least music is available in the Hall right? they replied that it costs an additional 1000 Rs i agreed to this also.
Gave them the Happy Birthday Foil and ballons a day prior to the event. Showed them the pictures too how it has to be decorated. Gourav said don't worry sir we will do our best.
Finally an hour before the event i asked for pictures, they said they have just started and 10 minutes later I received the first pictures on my whatsApp chat with 8 balloons. I said one combination is okay but the other one is wrong. Called rahul to explain him that it was wrong and not to continue with this. He said talk to Gaurav regarding that. I called gaurav and explained the same but didn't receive a confirmation call back from neither gourav nor rahul that they have understood. Received a message from Rahul that it will cost an additional 1500 for change in colour of the balloon. I said that the picture was already shared with your manager Gaurav. If the mistake is from your end then why should i pay.
Finally lost my temper shouted on the phone and said are you guys out of your mind and do you think we are fools.
Sent group messages to my friends and relatives that the hall isn't decorated so kindly delay your arrival by 30 minutes.
We reached around 8:10 in the evening, they didn't understand everything about the decor that had to be done and did their best.
Not wanting to ruin my evening just continued with the party while thinking it's just a bad day and a bad decision to have an event here.
Service was okay and not that bad being the Valentine's Day rush. Though few items were delayed and people lost their spontaneous interest to eat further.
Asked for the final bill, paid it and left.
Paid almost what they billed & didn't even ask for a single rupee discount.
Break up : Food & water 24894 Decorations 2500 Additional decor ( my balloons and foil) 1000 Music 1000 Tip 1250
Totally Not worth the price you pay for.

Read moreIt's a over rated restro I must say , thing which can attract your attention is just ambience which is good , In last two week I visited thrice just because of ambience and always had a high disappointment towards the service they are offering , over expensive things I can't even believe they are charging 90rs for one a glass of cold drink which usually comes in rs 20 , even beers are marked on high price tags as compared to facilities their in , one more thing I would like to advice them Improve the hygiene of toilets and even the number of urinals , bad House keeping (needs to taken care with utmost effect) Though you guys decorate food in good way but ultimately in taste it's average . ( I had dahi kebab their in which turned out very sweet which spoiled taste & also I went binge of eating chicken thrice which at all I didn't liked. Not much hot when served and not even cooked properly. Too much delay is getting things on table which always break your intrest to sit and order .
It's my advice to do please match your services in line with the ambience you have provided . Price always comes second in my view but things should be on same table .
Worst and pathetic food of rangrejaa ... Would never ever suggest anyone to go their and enjoy food
