HOTEL MANDIRAM — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

• Third Class,ZERO/Negative Category Rating Rude-Management"||[1] it is NOT a Hotel,its is a Guest-House/Dharamshala. --Just Keeping High Rates and than giving Discounts does not means that its a Hotel.||[2] Small Congested rooms, less than 100 sq.ft,NO space for keeping Strolley luggage,or Moving around.||[3] Very Dirty,Uncleaned.Spots on the Walls,Loose wiring & Fittings.||[4] No Exhaust fan in the Toilet.||[5] A.C. Not working properly,Web & dirt on the A.C.||[6] Very compact Toilet.||[7] Jet-pipe in the comode not fitted./MISPLACED.||[8] No Tea-Pot in the room||[9] dirty/ spotted bedsheets and quilts||[10] Broken tiles in the toilet.||[11] Uncleaned/dirty/spotted Floor of lobby,||[12] Extra Mattress was Dirty Poor Quality.||[13} " Stay like Guest-House/DharamShala ,But Pay like Luxury "||[14] Very Rude,Unprofessional Behaviour by the Management(Manager/GM) :- When we arrived in the hotel in evening at 8pm, we complained about all these at the Reception,,,But they hv no other Categary of Rooms availbale.|| Anyhow, due to so-late night with family and tight schedule on next day,,it was not possible to search and shift to another hotel, we decided to stay.|| We took dinner in the hotel Restaurant,,the Food was also costly..|| STAY LIKE Guest House,, & Pay like Luxury for Food *||After coming back to roomsat 10.30pm we reminded them to change the dirty/spotted Bedsheets n quilts & Clean the rooms,,,but that was not done upto 11.15pm,,||||---##*at About 11.15pm ,a phone came to my room (perhapes from hotel Management),,,threatening us in a Loud-voice started shouting over phone in a very Rude-way & Warning us,,that,--"we hv many Complains, and they cannot fulfill them anymore,,,so dont give any further requirement, and dont deserve anything more from hotel,,,You do whatever u want to do,,u can call to Goibibo,,,,we r not going to assist u anymore..!!" When i ask him about unfitted/Loose jet-pipe,,,Inspite he started blaming us that we hv broken .."",,,,Such a NON-SENSE / IDIOT type treatment to a Customer...??!!|||| * Since it was late-night with family,,and we hv tight schedule next day,,,so we Compromised & kept Calm,,,,What else we can do in an unkown place with family??. BUT, these made us very very UNPLEASANT Stay whole night,.||||That was a Pathetic stay at "the GUEST House- Mandiram".||The Travel-websites should recheck reviewRates and Rating of the Hotel Mandiram,Allhabad, . Needs to Downgrade and put into "Guest-House/ Dharamshala" Category. .||Pls see the enclosed pics...

I went there on March 20, 2016 for a two night stay with my parents and my wife. We had booked for stay and breakfast and were promised a buffet every morning. However, the first morning, there was no breakfast buffet as the management said "there aren't enough guests in the hotel so buffet isn't served" and they charged us for extra tea and coffee (which in case of a buffet breakfast, should be unlimited). The next morning, the waiter very rudely refuses to serve us extra tea asking why 4 people would require 5 cups of tea... ||||This kind of service and behavior towards us (including my elderly parents visiting Allahabad for the first time) was extremely displeasing and a very sore memory to an otherwise enjoyable trip.||||I would advice prospective travellers to look for other...

The location is near Rambagh Train Station. So it provides a easy mean of commute. You can travel by foot to the station.

There is a park albeit small one, just in front of the hotel, so you can have a leisure walk there in the evening.

The staff is extremely responsive, and delivers quick action without needing to intervene. The attendants are all polite and extremely helpful.

The room decent. It is neither too small not too spacious. A decent price. But the amenities are not provided in the bathroom and you have to ask the staff. Nonetheless they provided it readily.

One big advantage is that there is a restraunt inside the hotel which provides decent food, so you don't have to go...
