Hotel N.C.Continental — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

I have stayed in this hotel during my short trip of Allahabad and was greatly disappointed with the place. We took a double deluxe room which costed some Rs.550 per room. Since our stay was arranged by a friend we did not had much choice. Room was small, but there was just space to move around. Forget about the wardrobes you will never want to use it. Bathroom was pretty ok with just the minimal cleanliness. But in the cold chilling winter there were just 2 thin blankets to beat the chill. When asked for more blankets they were given to us uncovered. The window of the rooms would not shout close so we had slept in almost falling mist for the whole night. Believe me it was as good as sleeping in open. Housekeeping nearly does not exist. And you need to have courage to drink tea in those cups. Carry your own water and warm water comes only till 9. They do make sure guests follow their schedule. Worst place and should not be opted...

This is an average hotel and very near to railway station,one can easily reach to the hotel either from railway station or from bus stand. There are various good restaurants available just opposite to the hotel and serves delicious foods. The hotel offers good spacious rooms and room services, the only disadvantage of the hotel is they provide hot water only from 06.00 to 10.00 am, after that if you require it can be provided in buckets. This hotel is comparatively better than the neighboring options. The staff is at least hospitable and polite, which makes a noticeable difference. That said, the service could still use some improvement.
