Hotel Raj Palace — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Advice To Hotel Management: Please give proper training to your room service staff to behave well with the guests. In this hotel I would like to mention the middle-aged staff who was serving us, mentally harassed us by forcing us to eat the food which was left out or available at his end. When we tried going out for dinner, the said staff stopped us at the staircase and shouted at us 'where are you going, go to your room and order from there'. We didn't feel safe at this hotel, anyhow we didn't reprimanded or complained about him to the management due to our safety concern. This is very serious matter, kindly take cognizance of it. Second day he messed up our breakfast order, which he gave to another guest and lied us that the order taking person forgot about it. This we came to know when we called back to check after 30 mins of wait time. He had no shame when we said we will have outside and said ok instead of apologizing. As the hotel self proclaims as "3-star" hotel, indeed it is one. I stayed there for one night with family.

The beds in the room is okayish. The bathroom was not initially clean. When we saw the room, everything was fine. But then later there was a leaking roof in the bathroom. It started smelling. The walls of the bathroom could hear sounds from other bathrooms. The owner or manager claims that it is a family hotel. But it wasn't the case. There were group of mens staying. I literally have no issue with this, but since he claimed as only "for family" it went weird when we asked for the hotel formal bill and he started questioning my relationship with my husband and brother-in-law.

One good point - the manager arranged a UP Govt. autorickshaw who took us around the city. It was indeed a good ride. - Five Stars for that.

No issues with safety. Car parking was sufficient. Filterred drinking water was provided.

Staffs were very friendly, very cooperative. Five stars to them.

Not highly recommended unless you are running out of rooms to stay...

Rooms are not clean....bed and blanket are stinking...broken furnitures, washbasin and toilet seat... Not at all recommended for anyone...pls look for another hotel...not worthy for more than 700-800Rs per day.... decent enough options are available in same location with better ambience... Pls avoid if you are looking for decent stay

I can only say that it's better to accept the feedback with open heart and take corrective measures because covering your staff by putting wrong allegations on anyone in not ethical....as per the towel is concerned, I have highlighted the same with your staff on day1...even I told them that I have not even touched your towel during my stay... which they were also agreed upon..... taking photographs outside the property doesn't proof that the room or bed or blankets was hygienic enough...
