⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) Title: Highly Disappointing Experience – Misleading Reviews

I visited this restaurant after reading numerous glowing 5-star reviews, but my experience was starkly different—and deeply disappointing.

I ordered the Nawabi Thali, expecting a rich, fulfilling meal. What I received, however, was far from "Nawabi." The thali included 2 rotis and 1 naan, but the portion of gravy provided was so insufficient that I had to leave one roti untouched. I ended up walking out still hungry, which is possibly the worst feeling after spending ₹350 on a meal that's supposed to be hearty.

Adding to the discomfort was the constant interruption from the owner, repeatedly asking, "How is it? How is it?"—to the point that it felt more like haggling than hospitality. I was hoping for a peaceful dining experience, but instead felt pressured and irritated throughout the meal.

Frankly, calling it a "Nawabi Thali" is misleading—“Bhikari Thali” would be a more honest label, given the poor quantity and overall lack of satisfaction. The experience left me questioning the authenticity of all those 5-star reviews. They seem overly generous, if not outright fabricated.

This place isn't even worth 1 star based on what I experienced. I hope others don’t fall into the same trap I did by trusting the ratings alone. A restaurant should feed both the stomach and the soul—this...

Definitely worth the awesome reviews this place has. The grandson of the person who started this restaurant personally attends their customers and constantly seeks their feedback. The staff is very polite and cooperative and service is good.

The taste and quality of food is excellent and super light and feels healthy to the stomach. They grind their spices on the traditional Sil Batta and use only branded desi ghee and mustard oil for their preparations. I highly recommend having a lunch/dinner at this place.

The rates are also reasonable given the high quality stuff they use for making food. The best part is that half-plate is available for most of the items in the menu, so the place becomes very practical for those intending to dine alone. They also provide food delivery all across Lucknow if you place an order on their WhatsApp number.

The location of the restaurant is very strategic. It is located right across Charbagh Railway Station, just below Charbagh Metro Station. The only drawback is that the place has no parking space and the road usually remains very busy due to the railway station right beside it. So, its advisable to park your car at the Railway Station parking lot to ensure the safety of your car, especially from Challans.

I had very little time since night curfew was in place but they were courteous enough to pack me awadhi chicken biryani even late at the night... So my review dwells much around it only...

What i liked with packaging of food is that everything they used is of food grade quality with certification of everything being food grade... They took care of small things like mouth freshner, tissue, salt, pepper... coming onto the taste of the food it was very awesome... The chicken was so soft and properly cooked that i ate it all using the wooden spoon they had provided to me... Without using my hands... The aroma and taste of biryani was totally exquisite... I am really glad that they used original kesar instead of food flavouring...

I for the one am a person who likes biryani by salan and biryani to be spicy... But after having their biryani with raita, i can gladly say that biryani can also be eaten with raita... Their awadhi chicken biryani was a delicacy for me...
