HOTEL STARCITY — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Least accommodating hotel manager and staff. I booked this hotel at 8.30 p.m. at night because my train ticket was still in waitlist and I was expecting that the chart will be prepared after 3-4 hours and my ticket will not get confirmed. But 15-20 minutes after booking, I received a message that my train ticket was confirmed. I immediately called the hotel staff and goibibo team and explained to them that I don't need the room and as I had to leave at 2:30 - 3:00 am in the morning for chheoki station which is pretty far from the hotel, it will not be very safe for me. The hotel manager told me that he understands and will talk to the goibibo team but he lied and sent a mail that refund will not be possible. I did not even go to the hotel nor did I check in. I think this is the least flexible way of handling the customers and I won't use goibibo in the future. There are better websites providing much better...

Hotel staff behaviour, their services, food quality, room, toilet everything was very good. Only thing to mention here that room size is small and lighting system needs to review as there is no night lamp facility in the room and due to non-availability of lift service, older persons may get themselves inconvenient. Otherwise all the staff were helpful and co-operative and our stay was very nice. The ambience was very calm and quiet to stay...
