Hotel Yelchiko — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Nothing against the hotel...But the attitude of the ground staff towards the guest is pathetic to say the least..We checked in on 9th April 2019 .. reception welcomed us by saying that our booking was not confirmed ! Only to be found out in the next 5 minutes that they have actually received the payment and confirmation from OYO..Another horrid time was when we went to the restaurant for breakfast...Was denied breakfast at first despite paying and booking breakfast in the last night itself.. Reception told us that it is not theirs , rather our responsibility to find out what happened with the booking...Only for them to find out in next couple of minutes that there is indeed a booking for breakfast! Instead of accepting their mistake , they keep on piling on their arrogance and they argue..Staff were rude to the extreme...It was buffet..But their attitude towards us filling our plates twice or thrice made us leave the restaurant in embarrassment.. Unprofessional and untrained staff..Behaving like they were dishing out the breakfast out of their own pocket...Don't think even once booking the hotel if you like people around you to be friendly and nice...Otherwise nice clean accommodation..But the ground staff is doing irreparable damage to the hotel's image...And I don't think top level management keeps an eye on the google reviews... Still a try from my side to reaching...

Booked this hotel for 2 days thinking we would have good experience but it was nightmare and had to checkout in one day and search another hotel . here is the list||1) Booked twin sharing 3 rooms - we were given single bed rooms with arrangement on single occupancy. When asked for additional bed arrangement was done with reluctance||2) Toilet leaking continously||3) Rooms and Toilet were not cleaned ||4) No Hangers in room||5) Bath area very oily and is difficult to stand without slipping ||6) No hot water for 3 hours in the morning even after repeated follow -up||7) When window opened very bad view. Rooms in the back have a wall view with visible pan and tobacco stains and very ugly view ||8) Bed sheets have stains and even after we brought to notice were not changed||9) Very rude helping staff||10) No arrangement of tea Kettel ( normally it is there in...

Delux room was large but room had no ventilation and had a peculiar smell. Bed was good and comfortable but linen not as clean as expected. Front desk was just ok. Restaurant interior is good but B'fast choice very limited. Food quality and taste poor, ordered soup and some chicken in snacks, too much spice added and even after complain no action taken.

Forgot one mobile in the room and did the checkout. Called back after few hours, though the front desk said the searched but didn't found anything. Whereas I'm sure the mobile was left in the room, it was a old mobile being used by kids so not able to trace it too.

Not much parking space in front of hotel and helping hands were less too.
