In the last year, OVER 8 times I have stayed here. And all the times I have had the following experience: 1- there is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS hair in the bed. ALWAYS. I have to put in a special request to have my bed checked for hair and dirt YET every time there is the hair left by the previous guest. Sometimes even food stains. 2- there is always hair in the bathroom/ shower. 3- some of the rooms have mold and moisture dripping off the walls. 4- the staff (front desk, house keeping, restaurant) is VERY VERY sweet and do their best to make you comfortable. They do their best to make good on the absolutely deplorable management of this place. 5- the power restarts every half hour or so...that's its own beast 6- AC service is done by some shady looking guys who have zero training in hospitality or anything else- he comes in gawking and ...less said the better 7- of the 4 times I have had packed breakfast taken- each time the same sandwich is prepared in a totally different manner- not an issue but it sure brings one back to the SOPs! ....
The problem seems to be- absolutely rubbish management. Do they check customer concerns, experiences? its obviously the management insisting on pinching pennies by not providing basic hospitality SOPs (changing the damn sheets after every guest ..to begin with) this property is such a sad representation of the Radisson experience that i have enjoyed over the last 15 years.
WHY do i still choose it? Because its still a better place than the seedy hotels available where I wouldnt even feel safe since I travel alone.
Honestly, I wish I was not writing this review but today despite a request to double check my bed, coupled with a long journey that started at 4 am, to find hair in your bed as you get in to sleep at 10 pm is just...
Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Radisson Hotel Bareilly, and I must say that there is a lot of room for improvement in almost every aspect of the hotel.
Firstly, the staff needs significant training. While they are polite, their ability to serve and engage guests is sorely lacking. There seems to be a lack of basic hospitality skills, which made my stay less comfortable than expected. From check-in to assistance with any queries, the staff seemed unprepared and not well-versed in customer service.
Room cleaning was another area where the hotel fell short. The cleaning staff appeared to lack proper training on how to maintain cleanliness. The rooms were not properly tidied, and the overall attention to detail was missing. It gave the impression that the housekeeping team wasn’t equipped with proper knowledge or standards for maintaining guest rooms.
The food at the hotel was a major disappointment. The breakfast selection was limited, and all the items seemed old and stale. It felt like the food had been prepared long before it was served, and the freshness was lacking. Dinner was even worse – it made me feel unwell, and I ended up not eating much of it. Given the reputation of Radisson hotels, I expected much better quality.
Overall, the entire experience felt like staying in a banquet hall rather than a reputable hotel. The staff, unfortunately, seemed to be untrained locals who were not prepared for the demands of hospitality. Unless Radisson Bareilly invests in proper training for their staff and improves the overall quality of services, I do not see myself or others returning to this hotel in the future. There’s a lot of potential, but they need to make significant improvements in all areas before they can meet the expectations of...
Read moreAmbience: The staff is very good and very helpful at all times. We were given a room with a partition and we got there very late in the night as the flight was very delayed. In the middle of the night there were some pool splashes and it seems the there were some hotel restaurant staff having a good time in the pool. The bedsheets needs to be washed with every guest as the one we got were not clean and some hairs were still stuck to it. Breakfast; There breakfast is really good and I liked the vibrant breakfast room. The staff was again super good and attended to all our needs. Dinner: There dinner menu is super expensive as per my view and would rather recommend people to eat out or order from outside. It does not make sense to pay Rs.600 for one lassi and fried rice. Lifts: super scary, please every one avoid using them as when the power cut happens you will be stuck in it for a good five minutes enough to give any one a heart attack. Cleaning service: is again good and they cleaned my room daily and made my bed. TV: there are hardly any channels on tv which they have paid for so it gets pretty boring also please change remote batteries regularly. Rooms: we requested another room as there was a lot of noise due to some function coming from downstairs. Please guys do not make it a Barat venue as we pay for good night sleep and you guys are the most expensive hotel in Bareilly. Overall the hotel is good and would stay there again, the staff very helpful and nice just needs a little changes to be made for...
