My first and last experience with Treebo. (Treebo trend shivam inn, Gomti nagar, lucknow) The hotel staff at the reception desk at the time, Anup, was awfully horid and treated us like animals to say the least. I had called Treebo Hotels ahead of my arrival to inform them of my arrival time and requirement of extra bedding. Mr. Anup not only refused to give us a room when we arrived at 3 am after a rather long journey, but he was completely void of any respect and humanity. We had to leave for Lakhimpur at 7 am to attend a funeral, we were four of us and decided to book one room to catch on sleep and freshen up before we went onward. I had already informed Treebo Hotels about this, a little while after my phone call with them they called me back to confirm the check in time. Nowhere did we come across the policy of unmarried couples not being allowed (my sister and two friends only wanted to catch on sleep and freshen up instead of traveling to Lakhimpur after our train reached at 2.30 am because we thought it wouldn't be safe). He refused the check in, when we asked him to give us two rooms so as to not violate the policy he refused that as well. The security guard on duty after seeing us, and how tired we were and understanding our state of mind, just having lost our close friend, started pestering Mr. Anup to just give us the room. For that he was threatened by Mr. Anup and asked to leave. I kept trying to get in touch with representative from Treebo but no one answered. I asked Mr. Anup to get in touch with Treebo he refused that as well. I don't know if that was just his way of talking and expressions or last night was a one off. Around 45 minutes into the scene that was created by him, I quickly decided to walk across the road to another hotel. Thankfully that hotel had humans for employees who gave us rooms, MUCH BETTER rooms and property, at the same price. It's appalling, how we were treated, I didn't pay anything so this post is really not about the money. It is only about the horror my friends and I went through last night, looking for a place to rest our feet for a couple hours. I really hope some disciplinary actions are taken against such staff, you run a business in the hospitality sector, there was nothing hospitable about our experience. A grumpy man just decided to not check us in at 3 am after I already confirmed the details of my stay. Furthermore, he threatened his own employee when he tried to...
Read moreBooked their service online. The receptionist assured of the booking and gave directions to the hotel. Situated at a noticable location, the hotel is based of a house. Cleanliness is something which works for me wonders. And this place was crystal clear of dust and dirt. The staff is courteous and respond promptly. They allow food from outside I.e. you can order online or from a restaurant outside of the hotel kitchen. Even in the middle of the night, when asked for towels and water, the receptionist was quite humble and welcoming. Well, again the service is quick! The hotel is well lit and the rooms are spacious and tidy. The bathroom size is a little disappointing, for they are too small. We booked two rooms and both the rooms had the same size of attached bathrooms.
We ate breakfast from the hotel kitchen the next morning, there was variety and options. Indian/European/US breakfast meals. Overall, the experience was good and I would recommend this...
Read moreRooms in this hotel are manageable as per cost offered. Not so big not so small. Rooms are clean and look new. Air conditioning is absolutely fine. Enough lights have been provided. LCD TVs with Tata sky connection. The cupboard and dressing table is also provided for ease of getting up ready. The washroom is big enough and clean . Min required amenities are provided. The best part which I like most is the restaurant in the basement. The taste of food is awesome and Singapore Mall is right on the edge of the other side of the hotel. The staff are very helpful and listen to what we need. Only one drawback is that staff are entering the room without knocking on the door. So, be prepared for it. Overall, I really loved this place and would definitely love to...
