Read moreReview for the Restaurant
I was trying my best to find one good thing about this restaurant for me to improve my review but, sorry. Couldn't find any, but one.
Extremely bad food. Right from a simple manchow soup to the Indian main course and Dal Tadka. Every single thing was terribly tasting. I had to add one spoon full of Indian Pickle to the soup to be able to even have it. So much so, that I had to pack more than 70% of my order without eating it, to bring it home and recook it, finally to have it in the correct taste. Couldn't waste 1800 Rupees down the drain.
The washroom meant for the restaurant was so smelly that it felt as if I was in a roadside public toilet. That was absolutely shocking.
Didn't see any "Reserved" signs on the tables but yet, wasn't allowed to sit where I wanted to. Didn't understand this whole process of not being allowed, because I have never experienced this treatment in any restaurant, in my last 30 years of eating out. And I have been to too many fine dining restaurants for me to give this review.
Most Important - The servers were EXTREMELY SWEET. That was ONE GOOD THING that came out of this restaurant. Every single person who served us was really really sweet and hospitable. Great training.
I didn't want to write such a negative review but just because your restaurant is fancy looking from outside, you can't charge a bomb for serving extremely poor food.
I am never going back again and wouldn't be confident to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Wishing the owners and managers of this restaurant all the best. May you work on your core product and services than just the look and feel. All...
Read moreFirst of all I will thank Mr Kunal (GM) and his entire staff for being so friendly and helpful. The hospitality has been brilliant starting from the guard who received us at the gate until the final checkout when the bell boy helped in managing the luggage. I travelled with my family and had an outstanding stay here. The room was large enough to accommodate an extra bed comfortably. Cleanliness seemed a top priority here as the room and the restaurant was spic and span. Food was very tasty and the restaurant staff was very helpful as they packed enough breakfast for us because we couldn't eat there due to paucity of time. Location is definitely a highlight as its bang on the main road (near Bhikaripur tiraha). We tried to rebook for another date in a week's time as we would be traveling back but we were not lucky as there was no availability on our date, and it's very logical because such budget friendly hotel with great 4-star facilties will never go unbooked a single day!!! Looking forward to stay there next time when I go to Varanasi. Overall the best experience in last 5-6 years of my travel. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A PAID PROMOTION. ANY READER HAS ANY QUERY THEY CAN VERY THAT I'M A...
