Amidst the beautiful valley of Mukteshwar lies an the blossoming Alankar Restaurant. It is not just a restaurant, it is a home to Many wanderers who come as tourists to Mukteshwar . Such is the aura of the hotel that we got attracted to it and passing by the woodlands, we got of a glance of beautiful hotel. Coming close, we saw the grace, the artistry of the beautiful resort. We had just entered mukteshwar and had already travelled a lot, it was a road trip afterall! So seeing the beauty we just got attracted to it in a manner, we just made plans to stay there! Taking a package thereon, we settled there, and believe me, in between those valleys, the scenic beauty was truly amazing. We felt like we were in heaven. Just getting up daily to see the blend of nature with organic farming, and the terraced farming, not to forget! we thoroughly enjoyed the service, the food, the accommodation there. One couldn't such a cherishing breakfast, lunch and dinner at those heights.

Running back tired we just wanted to cuddle with the pillows and it was just a pleasure to be inside those warm bedrooms with comfortable pillows and blankets covering us!

Staying here is a mesmerising experience in itself. Picture perfect scenic landscapes of Shivalik Himalayas, soaring breeze putting soul to rest, lights in distant villages appear like twinkling stars, chirping of birds in the morning seems to rejuvenate your soul, and makes you feel lively again. On the top of that, Rekha Ji our host, such a fabulous soul, very polite and excellent cook as well. We had such a delicious Pahadi Chicken here, all thanks to Rekha Ji and her team.

This place is really a poetic beauty which can remind you of John Keats "A thing of beauty is a joy forever".

Mukteshwar is a beautiful hill station for the people who enjoy peace and nature, the best part is alankar homestay, we had an ultimate experience. The owner Mr & Mrs ginwal are gem of the people, they are so passionate, loving and caring that we had a family bond with the couple, Mrs ginwal is an amazing cook and her dishes are awesome, we even heartedly enjoyed her pahadi dishes like chaulai ka saag, pahadi kadi, bhang ki chatni, bhat ki dal...... Great taste, and the best part that she cooks with passion. Mrs ginwal is full of life and takes care of her guest like family. Mr. Inder ginwal is very down to earth simple and very energetic person and well known person in the area .
