We stayed at Badri Ville for 1 night on our visit to Badrinath. I was in touch with the owner of this place Mr. Vimlesh a month before the visit and he assured me that my stay will be comfortable. On arriving at this place we felt awesome. The resort is 50 metres from the main road with a lane right next to Sarovar Portico. The hotel staff helped us carrying the luggage from main road to the resort.|We were greeted nicely by mr Vimlesh and he answered all questions we have related to Temple timings, from where to buy Prasad etc.|We booked 2 triple occupancy rooms with each having single bed. Since it was first day of Dharshan, the resort too was opened after 6 months. The room and bathroom cleanniess was very good.|At dinner Mr. Vimlesh personally took care of us, he served us hot rotis. As promised by him the food was indeed a home made prepared from organic vegetables grown in the resort.|An excellent property with an equally excellent hospitality by Mr. Vimlesh and his staff.||Thank you so much. Read moreThe hotel is set back from the road by about 100m; at first we wondered where we were being taken as the hotel was not visible. My review is based on a time when it was cloudy and fairly cool. The rooms were average - two singles - no real storage - carpets were coming up and I tripped on them several times - tea and coffee maker provided - the TV didn't work as the Airtel subscription had run out - basic washroom, but it did have plenty of hot running water. The rooms were cold and it was only when I saw their leaflet about heaters being provided did we get a fan heater; too noisy to keep on overnight.||Good basic food was served in the restaurant but the room was cold and we ate in warm tops in the evening. The staff were very helpful and they brought more of their delicious food if it was requested.||I could imagine when it is warm the atmosphere of the rooms and hotel is...
Read moreI stayed in this resort for 10 days. Very clean & comfy. Wake up to amazing views of the Narayan Parbat and the snow peaks. Vimal, the proprietor, is a man of few words but very caring and prompt in providing services; Airtel WIFI was working pretty well. Bed is provided with an electric blanket which provided a very warm cozy night sleep. Bathrooms had geyser so no problem in getting hot water. He and his wife Madhuji make the most wonderful meals and snacks including momos. Mandir is just a walk away and if you're brave take the early morning bath in taptkund and go for a darshan. All under the guidance of Vimal. Will be back again to...
