Room is good and views are nice but the management is very poor, they donโ€™t know how to treat guests. This has been the worst stay of my life due to mal treatment at the hands of propertyโ€™s management.

Ordering food from them and they canโ€™t wait to settle the bill till check out, even after ordering a water bottle the guy will ask you to sign and make the payment immediately, if the management needs the payment immediately what is the need to do sign on the bill and if it is their policy they should have disclosed it and kept a deposit instead, itโ€™s embarrassing that food is in front of us and guy is standing asking for payment, when we asked that let us finish the food and then weโ€™ll make the payment, he had no courtesy to wait and was still repeating the same thing, manager/owner is the one behind the escapade,

Also, i think I've hit the spot ( poot management and received a response from the owner) as I am not getting the option to respond, they will deny to provide you water after after 9:30 PM - in my experience of more than 15 years of traveling no one has denied for the water no matter whatever the time is. And the owner is lying about the check out time as I have no where mentioned that I wanted to check out early at 4 and if you guys have the data - kindly cross check the check out time , even if as you say I wanted to check out early in the morning there must be some one at the reception to take the keys of the room and I could have settled the bill at that time for that matter,

And for clarification as I wrote in my review the guy was asking to make the payment after every order and no where mentioned about my check-out timings, don't try to cover your track.

Iโ€™ll advise my fellow travellers to avoid this place or give a deposit to them or donโ€™t order...

We planned a touch-and-leave impromptu road trip to lansdowne but planned to stay as the weather was just awesome and beautiful. We happened to walk into this property as it looked fairly a budget category and the location was nice. When we found out the tarrif, it made no sense to shell out 4.5k (after asking for the last price) for such a moderate quality stay. In all fairness, when we decided to take a leave and said "No, we think it's expensive and will find another", they replied "Why do people like you walk in such a property thinking you will get some cheap option when you can't afford it"

We were really shocked to see such a rude response from someone belonging to a hotel industry. When we said, "Why are you shouting at us for no reason, we are anyways leaving to search another property and this is no way to speak to a customer" and they literally yelled at us "Will you teach us how to speak, just get out of this property right now".

I am only writing this review as i am still in a shock. I also read many reviews written for this property and was clueless to see they were rated so high on trip advisor.

I then read some bad reviews, which are only a few though but one complaint was common to all : "Rude Staff".

It now explains why they are so highly rated. Not every customer really interacts with the management or points out anything unnecessarily. But if by any chance you do, these people will not take your feedback politely but will insult you. You can even see their responses for any bad complaint. Everywhere, they have been argumentative about every mistake of their own and insulted the customer. Of course, it cannot be true that they NEVER made a mistake.

I am so shaken today with the ill treatment today that I decided to write...

Lansdowne is a small place with very limited hotel options. Majority of hotels are small and are run by locals in their homes. So the facilities are very basic and they are economical too.

Pros Good location- located on main pauri lansdowne highway at just 100m from checkpoint. Scenetic view from hotel- a large open space in front of room. The view of valley is very beautiful from there. You can view sunrise from your room itself. Excellent food- Food is very tasty and economical. Better if you include meals in the package itself. (Cons: few varieties only). Rooms- average size room but they provide 2+1 bed. So if you are travelling with older kids. Hospitality- Owner is a simple person who runs hotel with his wife. They are very decent and helping couple.

Cons If you are used to standard boarding, this is not the place for you. No extra amenities like wifi, kids play area, swimming pool, bin fire etc. Cleanliness- Rooms are not very clean, sometimes lenins will be dirty. Bathrooms - This is a major problem in this hotel. Bathrooms are not very clean, flush is not working, some have missing faucet. Room service- the hotel staff are just 2-3 nepali boys who are immature to handle their work. Must be a cost cutting measure. No parking facility- you will have to park your car along roadside outside in the open. It's always accident and theft prone, gets very dirty due to traffic flow on the main highway

Overall, a good budget stay. The place itself doesn't has...

Our 6-night stay at Bright Sunny Pines Resort was magical. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the resort offered us the perfect blend of tranquility and breathtaking views. Waking up every morning to the sight of the sun rising over the peaks, right from our balcony, was an experience we will cherish forever. A special mention to Mr. Pranav, who provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. He ensured we were comfortable and served delicious, home-style food that perfectly fit our budget. His warm and attentive approach truly made us feel at home. We would also like to appreciate the cleaning staff girl, who was sweet, humble, and meticulous in keeping our room spotless. The serene atmosphere made it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. If youโ€™re looking for a place to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy stunning mountain views, Bright Sunny Pines Resort is the perfect choice. With outstanding service and a welcoming staff, we highly recommend it for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

ITS JUST OK. NOT GOOD NOT BEST. Don't go by RATINGS and comments "THEY INCREASED THEIR RATINGS BY GIVING UPFRONT DISCOUNTS ON POSTING 5 RATINGS ON GOOGLE" Long stairs down to reach to rooms and no car parking space. Just small entrance from main road. See on back side of picture attached. I am standing on road side in picture. People with disabilities find very discomfort to reach at rooms and up again. Food is priced high as you don't have other options. For snacks from outside you have to walk or drive ๐Ÿš— down to get some outside snacks. Small buffet area. Not good with kids as there is no open space for playing just rooms and balcony space. Outside walking at upside area in morning ๐ŸŒ„ or evening ๐ŸŒ† is great ๐Ÿ‘.
