Camp Hornbill, Kyari (Corbett) — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Our recent trip to Camp hornbill , Corbett ticked following boxes ✅️ 6-7 hours drive from Gurgaon ✅️ well appointed AC rooms ✅️ pet friendly ✅️ surrounded by wild life ✅️ short and mild treks

With just 2 days and 3 nights in hand this was a perfect get away with our furry son from gurgaon. We started at 4 pm from Gurgaon and reached by 11.30 pm after some breaks. It's a spacious resort with 17 aesthetically designed cottages. A small stream named Khichdi flows next to the resort. Food is delicious and home style.

Resort arranges following guided activities. Guides have great knowledge of flora and fauna of surrounding areas. floating in a 1926 brit made irrigation canal. Check the video to see what fun it was. Even pets can do this activity. jungle walks. One of them is in prisitine Pawalgarh just a km from resort. Fun quotient is also high as part of the trek is through knee deep crystal clear river water . We saw fresh tiger marks from night before. And Mr Tiger was probably watching us from the bush guided self drive at dusk to spot wild lives. We saw deer and pack of cute jackals. bird watching treks.

We drove out at midnight on our own and spotted herd of deer near water bodies. The stream next to resort is great place to dip your feet and your pets to enjoy frolicking in water.

They can arrange safari in seetabani circuit of corbett but we are not safari people 😀

Camp Hornbill is a paradise in the lap of mountains and next to river. all my family had such good 3 nights in this beautiful camp. gentle sound of river flowing by our room was so special and relaxing. I was sooo thrilled when i found it during my search for accomodation in Jim Corbett area. Shekhar ji guided me so well regarding safari and even my train bookings that i cannot thank him enough. Whole Camp Staff team is soooo accomodating, friendly, knowledgeable and skilled that they made our trip all the more memorable. Pankaj, Balwant, Manjeet, Naveen and Dhani ji - all were so warm and helpful. Food and the variety was so good and balanced diet. the nature walks, hiking, bird watching, bonfires were so enjoyable and there was not a single dull moment during our stay in the camp. i valued the lack of wifi and intercom in room as that avoided distractions. Morning tea served in room had its own charm. The hammock and all other concepts including washbasin in a live tree trunk were really worth commending. the beautiful rich plants, trees and birds visiting the camp were really the best. dedication of staff was so special that i thanked each of the individually-which i have not had much need to do in past in an accomodation. lot of thought and hard work has gone into making this place unique and really keep up the good work. do not pay attention to few complaining about the luxury of the environment damaging common resort. many appreciate this nature friendly camp. best...
