The JuSTa Hotel & Resorts is really a haven for the Nature Lover. I stayed in this Resort for 5 days with my Artist friends to attain an Art Camp "ChitraShaala-2023" organized and curated by the Artists Deepak and Nandini. It was really an amazing place felt very energetic during our Art Camp in this Lazy Haven. The Artists from different cities enjoyed like anything. The Services of the resort is excellent 👌 😋 👍 They filled up the swimming pool on our request that is commendable. I recommend this place for all Nature Lover and Peace lover who really wants to stay aloof for few days in peace at the lap of the Nature. Prashant K. This place should be called Just A Lousy Hotel, the property is nicely made and the staff is polite but they can’t help with most of the things since they’ve been briefed that way by the owner. Coming to amenities: WIFI is super annoying it keeps getting disconnected and speed is good only at the reception or restaurant area, Rooms are average looking (In one of the rooms we booked, AC wasn’t cooling at all), Please check the room and get it cleaned before getting comfy as there might be insects and frogs inside cuz its a forrest area. They have more rules than a college hostel in terms of timings for everything. Food is below average. Only pool area and the construction of the property is nice. Overall a super average experience.

Best part is the drive through forest, located in a village surrounded by forest from all sides. We stayed there for two nights, safari was conveniently arranged by the resort team. The highlight of the stay was outdoor experiences, there is a stream close to resort where one can bath relax every morning and evening. And that's not just over, a short guided walk through village and forest walk to another river was amazing experience with our evening tea being organised over there. Food was just amazing and delightful. Room are well designed and with balconies from where we were able to see peacocks wandering nearby every afternoon and morning.

Our experience at Justa Lazy Haven Corbett was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. We had booked four rooms for a stay, as we were traveling with kids, and arrived at the property around 4 pm, expecting a peaceful, enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, within 30 minutes of our arrival, we began encountering multiple problems that ruined our entire experience.

The first issue we faced was the presence of aggressive monkeys on the property. While it’s not unusual for resorts in jungle areas to have wildlife, the level of aggression from these monkeys was alarming. The property was not at all safe for children. The balcony doors in our rooms had faulty locks, making it incredibly easy for the monkeys to enter the rooms. Sure enough, within a short period, one of the monkeys entered one of our rooms when no one was around and created a huge mess. This was not only frightening for the kids but also extremely concerning. The lack of proper security measures made it clear that the resort was not adequately prepared to handle such situations. With the monkeys being a constant threat, we felt unsafe, especially with small children.

After this unsettling experience, we decided to check out just two hours after our check-in, as we could no longer stay in such an unsafe environment. However, we were told that since we had already paid 20k in advance, we would still need to pay an additional 20k to check out early. This was completely unfair, as the issues we faced were not our fault and made our stay unbearable. The resort’s policy of charging the full amount despite the unsafe and uncomfortable conditions showed a lack of consideration for guests.

The property is located deep within the jungle, which made leaving after 6 pm a difficult task due to the lack of proper roads or nearby alternatives. This left us trapped, with no choice but to stay the night in a place we no longer felt comfortable in. The lack of flexibility and understanding from the resort’s management was deeply frustrating.

Additionally, high tea was included in our package, but it was never served. When we asked about it, we were informed that high tea was served from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the restaurant, and we were expected to know this. No one bothered to call or inform us, and it felt like we were supposed to just figure it out on our own. This kind of communication, or lack thereof, is completely unacceptable for a hospitality business, especially considering we had paid a premium for our rooms.

The resort also had poor connectivity—there was no mobile network and the Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent. This made it difficult to reach out for help or even to make calls in case of emergencies. In today’s age, this is an essential service that should be offered, especially in a remote location like this.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay at Justa Lazy Haven Corbett to look elsewhere. The property is unsafe, particularly for families with children, the service is unhelpful, and the lack of proper communication and support made our stay incredibly unpleasant. No amount of natural beauty can make up for such a poorly managed and unsafe experience. I would never recommend this...

Our recent office trip from October 1st to 3rd, 2024, at a luxury boutique resort "Justa lazy Haven Corbett" was absolutely unforgettable! As a Destination Management Company, we often experience various accommodations, but this resort truly set a new standard, and I can confidently say it was one of my best experiences yet!

Rooms: The rooms were stunning, elegantly designed with a perfect blend of comfort and style. Each room had a private balcony with breathtaking views, allowing us to unwind after a day of activities.

Staff & Services: From the moment we arrived, each & every staff of the resort treated us like VIPs. Especially Ms. Nisha, she greeted us with warm hospitality. Every request was met with a smile, and her attention to every detail was impeccable. The Staff was incredibly accommodating, especially when it came to our request for early morning check-ins. The management arranged everything seamlessly, allowing us to settle in and start our activities without any hassle.

Nearby Activities: The resort's location was perfect for adventure. We enjoyed a range of nearby activities, including hiking trails, water sports, and guided tours of local attractions. There was something for everyone, ensuring our team had a great mix of relaxation and excitement.

Food and Drinks: The culinary experience was outstanding! Each meal including veg & non-veg was a delight, crafted with fresh, local ingredients. The chef " Mr. Baldev" deserves special recognition for his creativity and skill—every dish was a masterpiece. The diverse drink menu, featuring innovative cocktails and exquisite mocktails, was the cherry on top.

Barbecue and Musical Night: One of the standout moments was the barbecue night. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and the delicious aroma of grilled delicacies. The highlight was the live music, which created the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. Our team danced the night away, making connections and memories that will last a lifetime.

Conference Room: For our meetings, the conference room was equipped with everything we needed—high-quality audio-visual equipment, comfortable seating, and ample space for collaboration. The hotel management ensured our sessions were productive and enjoyable, making it a great environment for brainstorming and discussions.

Pool and Spa Facilities: The resort also boasted a stunning pool area, perfect for relaxing after a day of meetings. Unfortunately, the Spa staff was on leave during our stay, so I couldn’t indulge in a treatment this time. However, I’m looking forward to booking a spa session on our next visit!

Overall, our stay at this luxury boutique resort exceeded all expectations. We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and eager to return. Thank you to the management and staff for making our trip so special! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect blend of work and leisure.

A few good things about the hotel first, the hotel is nicely made and quite peaceful. Rooms are quite clean and aesthetic. Staff is polite. Property is pretty with greenery all around.

Now coming to some of very important aspects when you talk about staying at a hotel. The room we booked was a deluxe room for 2 people. As soon as we enter the room, we were impressed with the aesthetics, however, about 1-2 hours later we realised that the AC was not cooling the room and the WiFi was not working. We called the reception and told them about our plight. They said they’ll check and send someone. After half an hour we called again because no one had checked the issues. Later on a person from the maintenance came and checked the AC and he said the AC is on. I said there was never a question about it not being on, our problem was that it was not cooling the room. If the AC is kept at 16 degrees for 3-4 hours, you would expect it to cool the room, even if it’s 40 degrees outside. The same AC was installed in the hotel’s restaurant, and that was quite cooler than our room. All of this happened at 10pm in the night and we had to sleep in the heat. The next day it rained so we didn’t complain again regarding the AC and neither did the hotel take any responsibility of checking in with us if we’re okay with it. Our request for changing the room was also not paid attention to.

The next issue was with the geyser. Despite keeping it on for 20-25mins, the hot water lasted for no more than 2 mins. Since it was summer, we didn’t complain about it. However, if you’re going there in winters you would require hot water and the geyser doesn’t work.

The third thing is about the food. The food quality is quite average for the amount that they charge. The breakfast served included the normal spread - chicken sausages, idli, poha, boiled eggs, cornflakes, and bread butter jam. Of these things the chicken sausages were uncooked, because of which it caused diarrhea and food poisoning. On asking the restaurant if they have any medicine kit, they said no, we’ll have to go to the main market to get it.

All in all it was not a very pleasant experience at juSTa lazy Haven Corbett. I would suggest thinking twice before booking it. For the money they charge, their services are quite sub-par and not up to...
