This is a detailed review, you have been warned.
I stayed here along with a colleague for a total of 14 days. This was a work related trip and in August of 2018 (to give you context).
Rooms: Spacious, and typical layout. Sound proofing was lacking in my room which meant that I could hear any loud conversation from neighboring rooms. This problem may not be there in all rooms.
Bathrooms: Hot water is available 24*7 and water pressure is great. Toiletries provided include a shampoo, soap and moisturizer. Nothing fancy or great. Better to carry your own for extended stays. Toilets are reasonably clean and have a health faucet. Towels slightly musty at times.
Reception: Has a travel help desk and also can arrange cabs for your needs. Quite friendly staff and helpful.
Gym/spa: Did not try either as I didn't have much leisure time. They have free yoga sessions in mornings on weekdays.
Swimming pool: It's there, no one uses.
Electricals: Round socket indian pins only, around 4-5 spread around the room. TV is available and has a dish setup that has most channels. Air-conditioning is decent and gets quite cold. Room service leaves this on for some reason after cleaning, so it's usually freezing cold at 18° when you get back in the evening.
Sheets: Sheets could use a change, I think it gave me rashes, and I switched to the other bed which had fresher sheets. It was clean, I am also very allergic, experiences may vary. They don't seem to dust and clean the bed or change sheets often, they tuck it in and that's pretty much it. Could be fixed by requesting specifically.
Laundry: They are prompt, usually collect in the morning at 10/11 when cleaning the rooms and then deliver it by the evening. Cleaned and pressed neatly, except one time when it was still slightly damp. It had a faint trace of chemical smell, so you can use deo or perfume to mask it if you are particular.
Room service: Charge 10% extra, deliver usually within 30-60 mins, so order accordingly. Can accommodate special requests for meal so feel free to ask.
Car parking: Ample and open car park
Restaurant: Breakfast buffet is standard fare. Slightly repetitive menu. But food is tasty and has a decent spread. Poha/Upma, Aloo paratha, poori/bhature, subzi/chole, cut fruits, salad, curd, pickles, sawiya/porridge, sandwich, bread toast, Real fruit juice, Tea/coffee, cereal, etc.
Lunch (we had it only once) nothing special, A la carte roti and sabzis.
Dinner They have a buffet spread for dinner which I feel is value for money in comparison to their A la carte. Ordering individual dishes are more expensive and leaves you with a limited spread. Buffet Menu costs only Rs.350. Ordering a starter, rotis and 1 sabzi costs Rs. 800 easily for 2. So stick to the buffet.
Note: We visited during the month of Shravan which is an auspicious month and the hotel does not serve eggs or meat during that period. Hence none of the non vegetarian dishes were. Refer locality for nonveg options.
Staff: Overall very friendly and responsive staff. English is not their strength, but can understand you to sufficient extent. Hindi is their preferred language. Reception staff is comfortable with English as well.
Locality: This is located in an industrial area of the city called SIIDCUL next to a bunch of factories. Right next to it is also the Pentagon mall and Radisson Blu hotel. Plenty of shops (no pharmacy surprisingly), and restaurants. It has Dominos, McDonalds, IndoMughal (decent and tasty north indian food at cheap prices Rs. 600-800 for 2) and Captain Cavalry (more expensive but food is quite good, Rs. 1000-1400 for 2) all these places serve non vegetarian dishes during Shravan month. There are lots of food stalls too.
All this is right across the road and 200m walk from the hotel entrance to the mall entrance.
Would I stay again? Probably not, if I can afford the Radisson Blu, I'd pick that. If on a...

Read moreAt the outset, the building seems attractive with lot of attractive offers. on their pamphlet. The swimming pool is closed and so is Gym. The rooms are Ok but require maintenance. Bathroom seats at top floor, where we were require replacement. TV does not have some of the basic channels like ABP news, NDTV, Etc which has minimum of expenses less than one rupee a month. Morning breakfast buffet is good but I won’t recommend other meals or evening buffet, which has only one paneer dish, one mixed veg, one dal, noodles, one soup, curd raita and gulab jaman @ Rs 500/- per person approximately. This is more like a Thali food. Only 30 percent of the staff is courteous, others won’t say even Good morning to you . The welcome drink is given, if you ask for it. If management intervenes properly, they can certainly improve the hotel infrastructure as well as amenities and courtesy to...
