Heval river cottage - (Luxurious camping in Rishikesh) — Hotel in Uttarakhand

FRAUD!!!!! Do not visit!!!

Many people used to pay online/UPI etc which they will refuse that they recieved money. They are a team of goons who will force you to pay cash and then they will say that they will return money(bank issue, server issue etc) if they have it in account which they will not....they do not accept calls when you ask for money. I did almost 200 calls to them from different numbers. Be aware! Mr. Ajay Parmar/ Rishabh aggrawal the owner and caretaker both running business on these frauds that no one will come to Rishikesh again for 10000 rs. I have to chase them for 7 days to get my money back..that too partial return (although he accepted that he has my money twice).

People who visit from Delhi or other far places don't spoil your mood as you can not afford to chase them which I did as I am from nearby city.

In terms of facility you will see a total unhygienic place...local staff.. do not bring your family or friends there.

Overall... A very pathetic experience

Price- higher. Only breakfast and dinner is available no lunch. Snacks is just oil. It's AC room but in such a cold weather it's a common sense that no one will use it.

Parking -No 4 wheeler parking and two wheeler are to be parked in open.

Rooms- one of our teammate got allergic infection due to the blanket found insects in bed, good that we carried out own blankets which saved us. Infection will be gone after 80 hour. Morning aarti could not be completed as no hot water was available.

Cottage is just a fancy word used don't fall for it. Camping is also just a fancy word used don't fall for it.

It's just a unfortunate thing that someone suggested us to a place for booking and they further suggested us here and we were in a trap of respecting each other's help.

Asked the person who suggested us here 'activities kya kya hai?' Got no response but the silence was the truth, which has be n experienced.

Stay in city or gurudwara. Walking distance ganga aarti. Don't go for any stay near neelkanth mandir, traffic mai pura din...

After a lot of research checking google reviews and tripadvisor reviews. I booked this camp.

If you don't have your car and stay here you have to pay ₹500 per car trip for rafting or rishikesh pooja or something.

Cottage is near river bed and location is also good. Staff is really nice and courteous.

Chess, badminton, football, volleyball, etc games can be played here.

Food is also very good. You get snacks & hot tasty food. Pakodas & french fries what they server as evening snacks.

Out of all the rooms the best match for me was room no. 4.

Rooms are dirty and blankets also have alot of cigarette burn marks. Washrooms are also very dirty and there is no geyser. You would be getting heating rod for bathing purpose.

Apart from food, I didnot like the cottages very much. It is not that I was staying in cottage like this for the first time but rooms need to be clean.

Anyways for food quality, staff behaviour and location near tributary one would easily give them 2stars out of 5stars without any...
