Hotel Himalayan Holidays — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Never book this hotel directly in advance. On June 8 2023, I booked the hotel directly after paying 50 percent advance. Before booking I had asked them to state clearly their cancellation policy and they said u wud get full return of advance amount if u cancel before 14 days. Due to flood situation and change of plans, I requested a cancellation and refund well before 14 days. First they said, we will pay u after your check out date is past as this is our hotel policy ( not mentioned earlier). After check out date was past and repeatedly pestering for couple of months they returned around 2500Rs and asked for more time to return the remaining. Later I asked them to return at least 75℅ but by that time the whatsApp messages stopped being delivered. Lost 5K over the hotel. Never got it back. Very dishonest and fraudulent behavior....

Room is simple, there is hot water and private bathroom. But beds ar dirty sheets smell really bad it's quite disgusting. Bed mattress is also terble dirty. If they manage to keep rooms clean it could be ok for night stand....
