don’t be fooled by the rating. the ratings are fake and the real conditions of the hotel are very poor/super sub standard. very poor value for money. 4k a night for rooms that had dead insects on the walls, bathrooms not clean, one tap had weird coloured water running out, towels that were ink stained etc. Overpriced, price gouged hotel cause there is probably nothing much around for the Valley of Flowers trek. also they do not take online payments which is a pain. Finally one of their friends agreed to transfer money via his UPI but charged me 200 rs extra just to send money. everything reeks of greed with poor service cause there is nothing around food was also very very bad, dripping in oil inspite of being told to not add oil as much. It’s not true pahadi food and I could understand by how they cooked after we checked in and after sometime some idiot who was offering oil massage kept knocking on our door like it was normal to do so & for dinner too someone again came and knocked. there was no soap given or hand wash in the rooms the room was right next to an extremely noisy road with people shouting all the time or yelling at their friends etc. Just unpleasant to be able to sleep or be woken up early morning.
Overall a crappy experience for the money paid both for stay, service & for food. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE FAKE RATING. You are better off staying in Auli etc and coming to the Valley very early morning for the trek and leaving by...
Read moreHotels in the area are limited so get the feeling Bipin. (Owner) has the market cornered with 2 hotels in a small area |Staff were polite and friendly. |Our room was basic no air conditioning no fan resulting in a very humid night. Hot water has to be switched on manually but strange as electric to all sockets is turned off around 10pm We had to ask for water for our room also we had to pay for toilet roll for the bathroom. More important the bathroom had no shower facilities just a bucket and jug ||This hotel had a restaurant which provided lovely food |To be fare we had to book an emergency 2nd night which the owner was very accommodating ||This place felt more like a hostel rather than a hotel. A group of around 10-15 also stayed at the same time as us. Very noisy shouting and banging doors till late in to the night. ||Talking in to consideration that this is a 2-3 star hotel suppose it’s what’s expected and did the job as it was a stop of point while at reaching...
Read moreI would rate the hotel 5* due to the limited resource availability at such height. The most important fact is that the hotel rooms have geyser which is a must for temperature below 7-8 degree. The other hotels in that area only provide hot water by bucket. Other than that the food is cheaper than the nearby better hotels. All the people here has a smiling face and happy to help. There are improvements which the hotel can do: A complete cleaning of the room daily basis when people are back of trek. I didn't ask for the room heater which they advertise, it should be kept in room only. Provide 2 slippers/room wise. Keep a small wardrobe (even plastic one) as people will be staying there for atleast 2-3 days. Change the blanket to double or increase the size of single one. It was small for...
