Hotel Kamet — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Negative stars. Worst hotel, worst attitude of staff and poor facilities. They even make people who stay there pay for their faulty facilities. Our room washroom door broke in middle of night. Instead of helping us he started asking money from us for the door. And held up the entire group for it. We finally were made to pay as they created a huge scene and we were getting late for the sake of others. The staff was misbehaving. Me and my group stayed in this hotel for 4 days and I can assure that this is one of the best hotel for staying at Joshimuth as it is right in front of the ropeway. A place from where you take gondola for auli. Also, the price is reasonable as compared to other hotels. Moreover the hotel staff and the owner are very friendly and warm people. i stayed at this hotel for one night in a standard room in october , cold month. No geyser so the water had to be brought in a bucket. Clenliness was not worth mentioning. Tea was brought in a cup ready made. No way of contacting service or manager, you just have to stop some one to do you a favour.
