Hotel Skyking — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Sudden decision to spend new year out of town landed me n my husband with two toddler daughters in Dehradun on 29.12.2019 at 11.00pm ..n then the task began to search fr good hotel. After visiting few,I started loosing hope when I saw a good deal at make my trip about a hotel- skyking .. When contacted, Hotel owner Mr. Ankit told us that make my trip deal could not be given right now bt after a discussion, he brought tariff nearby to our budget with inclusion of breakfast and persuaded us to visit his hotel guaranteeing that once entered, we would not go bk.. N he was right..! Hotel is at main Rajpur road just opposite pacific mall which is one of posh n commercial locations of dehradoon..so all big brands, markets, restaurants r just nearby. Property is new so rooms r clean n beautifully designed.. All amenities like gyser, hot water kettle ,room blower ,mini fridge were working. Coffee n tea material were also supplied on daily basis alongwith one bisleri(apart from regular ro drinking water bottle) as complementary... Extra toiletries were provided whenever asked... Hotel staff was very prompt, supportive n humble. The hotel is also having a good restaurant on the roof which serves good veg n non veg food... Less spicy which was a blessing fr me particularly as i was accompanied by my toddlers. In fact, on seeing that kids r with us, the staff itself asked us whether to make our food less spicy. Further on 1.jan,hotel organised buffet for breakfast which didn't have parantha n my husband is in habit of eating parantha fr breakfast. The staff got the parantha prepared especially fr him without any issue or extra charge. Overall, our stay at hotel was very comfortable n at ease that, earlier we have decided just to spend 30.12.2019 in doon n leave fr Mussoorie next morning for 31.12.2019 celebration bt we cancelled our staying in Mussoorie n came bk to spend 31.12.2019 night in doon itself at the hotel. Not only this, we had decided to leave fr Delhi on 1.jan bt we extended our stay n left on 2nd Jan. All thanks to manager Mr. Lalit Negi n staff that we associated some pleasant memories of hotel too into...

I recently stayed at Hotel Skyking on Rajpur Road and had an excellent experience. The hotel is ideally located near Scholar Home School and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. My Double Rooms was small. The room LOOKED neat & clean because the interiors and flooring is relatively new. The restaurant staff is very polite but not professionally trained. So if you ask them to clean your room while you're away, they may just remove the crockery/cutlery of your earlier order only, and ignore cleaning the toilet and mopping your room floor! The "Breakfast Included" is a misnomer! ...All they offered me was a choice of aloo / gobhi paratha or omelette with one slice of bread! And please do not ask for tea during Breakfast ... YOU MAY GET RE-HEATED TEA! Asking for coffee is safer...but you may have to ask the guy in the restaurant to put in more coffee powder [{lack of Training, I guess]
