Ambience : (4/5) (+) Its a formal classic look. A kind of restaurant that would remind your grandfather / father, the best restaurant they would have visited in their times. (+) Nice all leather Sofas. very comfortable seating something that many restaurant owners overlook (+) Soft Yellow lighting. (+) Temperature - Perfect Temperature for a North Indian - around 21-22 degrees.

(-) Black Ceramic Cutlery actually did not go very well, although doesnt make much difference

Service and Hospitality: (5/5) (+) Immediate attention was paid as soon as I entered (+) Very Courteous, Smiling and Polite staff. Trained and educated staff (+) Honest - I asked if I order two things, they told me to order one as two would be an over-order for one person (+) I am happy that they did serve me ordinary RO water when i refused to have a packaged drinking water bottle. (++) Serving Time - Very Quick Service. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. While i would like to see how quick is the service on weekends too

Food and Taste (5/5 for current Order)

Order - Kadhai Paneer + Tandoori Roti + Ras Malai

(+) Kadhai Paneer is my litmus test in a vegetarian restaurant. This order of Kadhai Paneer had perfect consistency in gravy accompanied with Yellow and Green Bell Peppers. but what made this dish stand out was finely diced ginger and coriander. It just enhanced the taste by another 30 percent. They do provide vinegar soaked onions and pickle along.

Tandoori Roti was soft and well baked.

Ras Malai - Sweets is their forte so i would say it was tasty without a doubt

Cost and Value for Money 4/5

I paid 537/- for entire order. The Kadhai Paneer bowl was enough to be had with 6 tandoori rotis. Which means a decent diet for 2 people. Considering i had order one more item the bill would be somewhere around 850 aprox, Which is good value for money. I would rate it 4/5 in terms of value for money since the bill for two is less than 900 aprox

Overall Score : (4+5+5+4)/20 = (4.5 out of 10)

Edit: After posting this review, the owner of the restaurant called us. He was very surprised at the attitude of the managers/employees. He apologized for their behaviour. And has asked us to directly place orders with him in the future and to give 5 star another chance. Since then we have placed about a dozen different orders and we're happy to say that the experience is great again.

We have been a regular customer of Five Star Premium Rajpur Road. We used to order a variety of sweets and other items on a weekly basis since the past 2 years in Home Delivery. Whenever we had an issue we used to communicate to them and they used to replace the items. This was a rare occurrence earlier. Recently we started observing that the quality of Deai Ghee Laddus, milk cake and kalakand etc. was going down. We complained the last time they delivered the goods. It was about all of the above item. It seems our complaint didn't go down well with the manager there who went completely offensive and asked us to not order Home Delivery anymore! See 5 Star Premium, understand that you have customers till the time you have good products and a normal well mannered staff. If you behave in such a manner, it doesn't matter how good your products are. If the owners of 5 star premium are reading this they should change their managers and staff immediately. We will never go back to 5 star premium again. The behaviour was pathetic and absolutely uncalled for. This episode is the end of 5 star premium for us! Hope better...
