OYO 15592 Inn The Wild Resort — Hotel in Uttarakhand

I recently stayed at The Wild Orchid Resort in Jim Corbett. While the resort itself is nicely located and the surroundings are peaceful, I had a very disappointing and concerning experience during my stay.

While visiting the poolside area, I encountered broken glass pieces on the floor. Unfortunately, I ended up cutting my finger due to this. What was even more disappointing was the response from the staff — when I brought the issue to their attention, they were completely dismissive and offered no help or even a basic first-aid kit.

This kind of negligence is unacceptable, especially in a space like the pool where guests are likely to be barefoot or in sandals. It’s a serious safety hazard and needs immediate attention from the management.

Additionally, the food at the resort was decent — not extraordinary, but okay for a short stay.

Overall, the poor handling of a safety issue overshadowed the rest of the experience for me. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both safety standards and staff...

Actually the rating should be zero stars. Management is no where to be seen. The staff is discourteous and indifferent. No current since check-in. It 9PM and there is no hope for return of electricity. No food was served, apparently kitchen has been closed pre-maturely as there is no electricity. Checked-in with my elderly parents and now they are going to bed hungry. No room heaters. No extra blankets. No service. Kindly reserve rooms elsewhere. Also the locals say that this is normal occurrence...

Worst experience of my life. Food is outsourced by the Resort so limited quantity is served. The staff is not at all well behaved they just ignore you while you are at the top of your voice as if you are not there. The swimming pool is really in a bad shape. Room service is bad there is no option of giving it a negative star so need to settle it for one. Every site shows it for a free/complimentary breakfast but they charge you for that and a piece of bread cost Rs 10. Wont...
