I recently visited Ramnagar and stayed at The Wild Crest Resort. While the property is nestled amidst lush greenery and offers a serene environment filled with the melodious chirping of birds, my overall experience was a mix of positives and negatives.

Highlights:

Natural Surroundings: The resort is located in a picturesque area, surrounded by natural beauty. The green landscape and peaceful ambiance provide an ideal setting for relaxation.

Accommodation: The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained. The overall stay was comfortable in terms of basic amenities and cleanliness.

Food Quality: While the variety and presentation of food were commendable, the quality left much to be desired.

Concerns:

Food Hygiene: During the first night’s dinner, a dish featuring orange-hued chhena was served, which was visibly spoiled. The chhena had an unpleasant texture and sour taste, clearly indicating it was old. This lapse in food quality was extremely disappointing, especially given the high tariff of the resort.

Value for Money: Considering the premium pricing of the resort, the lack of attention to food hygiene and quality undermined the experience.

Conclusion:

While The Wild Crest Resort boasts stunning natural surroundings and comfortable accommodations, its negligence in food safety overshadowed the positives of my stay. Due to this experience, I am hesitant to recommend or revisit the resort. For a property that charges premium rates, such lapses are unacceptable.
