OYO 23275 Shiv Ganga View — Hotel in Uttarakhand

We booked three delux rooms online for 7 adults for date 29/05/22 to 31/05/2022 and got confirmation on 14/04/2022.. but when we reached at hotel we were surprised, the staff on reception told that your booking is not confirmed we don't have any rooms.. when we insisted that we had the confirmation, he spoke to someone and told us that they had the confirmation of two rooms, when we told him that we 7 are of three families cannot stay in two rooms, the other staff came at reception and told that he is the manager and told us that now they have only one room with six beds that's all.. finally when we raised our voice the manager told us to talk with tour manager; whom we had booked the rooms(kanak travels New Delhi) as of now we don't have any rooms "you can go".. . it was really frustrating even after paying the room charges in advance, our family members were standing on road for 2 hours ..very very bad experience... later after the talk with tour manager(Kanak travels New Delhi), the receptionist allotted 3 delux rooms.. with broken door, with TV in non working condition, fan regulator not working, no packed water bottle in rooms, no towels in any rooms, stained & bad smelling linens and broken furniture, attached washroom without ventilation, washrooms having two windows without safety grills and it's very funny that both ventilation windows were packed with glasses, no water to taps in the morning and most important no arrangements for mosquitoes repellent... asked several times to provide towels and to change the bad smelling bedcovers but the hotel staffs were very rude, illiterate & unmannered they never bothered for it, they all were busy in their own business starring on guests and sitting on guest's waiting sofa.. the breakfast and the dinner which was included in our package was very unhygienic, we never tasted so don't know the taste...we observed that the receptionist was telling to all most all the guest that they don't have the confirmation and later adjusted them to alternative low budget hotels... we don't recommend this hotel at all...

All the hotel staff members ( Mr. Himanshu and his family)were really humble and will make you feel at home with their excellent service. The view from hotel is breathtaking and having coffee in morning with river Ganga flowing alongside makes a serene and calm scene. Loved...
