Rosewood Apartment Hotel - Pantnagar — Hotel in Uttarakhand

The Rosewood Hotel, Rudrapur, looks quite good when you check-in. Rooms are very spacious, with adequate furniture, kitchenette and crockery etc. It is located inside a well guarded residential society. Location is very peaceful, calm and safe. The hotel has enough car parking space reserved for its customers.

However, after check-in, we noticed that the Rooms are not well maintained. Many of its equipments and fittings were not working properly. We stayed in the first week of January. It was peak winter season. But, the provided heater and the electricity line in the room gave continuos problem to us. They changed the heater, but the replaced heater was also faulty. Many times, their MCB got tripped due to overload. We have to call the reception of hotel many many times about the faulty heater, tripping of electricity in our room etc. At one time, there was no electricity in our room for 3 hours. Our first complete day was wasted in this exercise of complaining many times and getting the replacements and getting our electricity connection working..

Our stay was of two days. Ultimately, they changed our room. But we found out that in this new room, now, room telephone was not working. The handle of bathing mug in the toilet was broken. We have to call reception again several times to get such small things getting replaced. We have to compromise the convenience of calling reception from Room telephone because it could not be made functional.

The quality of toilets was not of good standard. Bathroom fittings are very out fashioned and of decades old design. It made it very difficult to use them.properly and conveniently.

The taste and quality of Breakfast in the hotel was good. But, buffet had very limited menu in comparison to other hotels of similar standard else where.

The overall staff behaviour was courteous.and they tried to hear our complaints very patiently and tried to rectify the problems with very limited resources at their disposal. Only the owners are responsible for all...

I recently stayed at the Rosewood Hotel in Rudrapur and would rate my overall experience a solid 3 stars.

The Room and Amenities were good. The room was more spacious than expected and came equipped with a fridge and necessary amenities. The WiFi quality was excellent, which is a huge plus for both business and personal travel. Cleaning was also good, and the room was well-maintained.

The Staff behaviour was excellent—very friendly and polite—but unfortunately, there was a significant delay in providing items when requested. This points to some organizational and management issues, as they don't seem to be properly active or coordinated. It was frustrating to find that basic things were not initially provided in the room, and I had to call to get them, which is "too bad" for a hotel.

The location is good and convenient for both business and personal stays. The food quality was average, with quite limited varieties available.

One of the decent hotels with good room space at this region. The service level is very average. The food is also Ok only and will be empty most of the time during breakfast. The amenities are also to be maintained better as the same age old building and you can get the sound of a room near the room regularly. Can facility is good option for official and personal usage. But the cost of cab booking are at higher side. The laundry service is very average. The swimming pool is at open space and hence expose to sunlight. The timings are also not suitable for daily usage. The lift facilities are average with frequent breakdown. We need to follow-up for lift issue and laundry issues with these team.
