I recently stayed at this hotel.... in the midst of this snow covered wilderness was this beautiful modern yet rustic resort... which gave us a 5 star hotel experience. The staff were attentive, well spoken and very very helpful (special shout out to Basant ) . The rooms were spacious , clean and had all the amenities one could dream of .... room heater, electric blankets, the bathroom was again spacious , clean and the basin taps also had hot water... every small detail they could think of the owners of this resort have. The view from the room was spectacular. The list doesnt end . Now coming to the food... we ordered from chinese to continental and they did not disappoint . please do try the grilled fish with lemon sauce it literally transported me to pondicherry the fish was soft and every bite was flavourful (it was served with mashed potatoes which does need a liitle improvment ). So if you want a 5 star experience in budget price this is the place to go .....Another detail worth mentioning is the breakfast and dining area , its all glass walls floor to ceiling and the experience of sipping your coffee and having breakfast with a panoramic view of auli and the mountains was...

We were in a Group of 10, had initially planned to stay @The Tattva - A Boutique Resort, Joshimath, Auli. Since it was sold out, we booked Rooms at Satopanth. All was good during our stay. But on the last day, when my Wife was getting ready, she realised that one of her Diamond Ear Tops was missing. We called the House Keeping staff immediately, he did help by brooming the room. Then I spoke with Suraj-The Manager. He promised that he would remove the Room Furniture, personally check and revert. It was most disappointing not to get call from the Manager. When I called Manager after reaching Delhi (24 hrs later) his response was very unprofessional. While we had little hope but still hoping against the hope that if efforts are made by hotel staff, we might get it. As just before leaving for Delhi, I found the the back lock of the expensive Diamond Top from the Bathroom itself.
