We stayed here for four nights for the New Year 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed the views and hospotality. |See details below:||Property|* It has individual two-level cottages. The entrance to low level and upper level cottages are separate and they are not interconnected.|* The views from each room and each level of the cottage is the same - Amazing mountain views of Nandadevi, Trishul, Neelgiri, and Haathi Parbat. |* Common speakers are placed near the walkways with light music playing throughout the day. ||Rooms|* Each room is named after the mountain peaks| The rooms are well equipped with room heaters, bed warmers, tea and coffe maker, 24 hour hot running water to make your stay comfortable.|* The evening high tea, campfire, and new year celebrations are conducted on the deck opposite the low level cottages. While it means that these rooms have easy access to these services, it also means that it can be a disturbance with the guests start buzzing in. ||Staff|* Himanshu, Sonu, Nitin, and the entire staff is extremely courteous and helpful. |* All of them are multi-taskers and they help out with the check-in check-out, kitchen, travel itinerary, room service, and laundary. ||Food and other services|* The food service is a little slow, but it could be because we visited during the peak season when their sister-hotel Mountain Rover was also fully occupied. |* The Oryza restaurant is shared between Casa Himalaya and Mountain Rover occupants. |* Laundry -They provide laundry service at reasonable rates considering that they have to send the clothes to Joshimath. It take at least 2 days to get them back. |* Food - Food items in the menu highly depends on the availability of ingredients. Garhwali food items such as Mandue ki roti, kafuli, jhakhiya bhaat, kheer are mostly available. ||Senior citizen and children acess|* You have to climb at least 15-20 steps to reach even the lower rooms. |* You have to climb a few steps to reach the restaurant. Room service is an option if you want to avoid climbing up to the restaurant. |* Adding a few more railings near the rooms will be good from the safety and easy of climbing perspective for children...

Words are less to describe this resort and it's team .Right from our arrival till our departure, everything arrangement was perfect and they made sure our stay was a relaxing and comfortable one with lovely memories .|An amazing resort with a great view of the snow covered mountain peaks and magical dreamy sunsets . The best part of this resort is it's location and the views from every single room , also rooms which are very spacious with balcony and good hygienic bathroom with handshower and all modern amenities. Great ambiance and excellent hospitality with always smiling ,helpful,courteous,hardworking, competent and warm staff who are just there for you just a call away. |My stay wouldn't have been such a comfortable and memorable one without the following staff and team who helped my mom while climbing each time to the room and made sure she was having a good time and enjoying . |Mrs Anagha who helped me with the booking and ensured i would have a lovely time here .Mr Vikas who was always reachable while we were reaching the resort and who took care of all the arrangements ,making sure all was perfect .Himanshu ,Mohan ,Ashish Bhatt and Nitin from FnB who were always there ,making sure every guest was eating well and helped with suggesting new dishes and also with sightseeing information. Chefs Subhas ,Sandesh ,Ashish and Amit who gave us a variety of different and lip smacking dishes each day that made us feel at home enjoying the food . Zuber ,Ayan and Sunny from Maintenance who helped with the channels for the television and heaters in our room and oh the bed warmers were so good which kept us warm and gave us peaceful sleep in this cold weather.
