The Prakriti's Nest Homestay — Hotel in Uttarakhand

I just want to thank Prahlad and his family for making our stay so pleasant. Prahlad was helpful right from the outset, helping me when i had issues booking the place. He checked up with me two days before the trip and provided the right guidance. At the start of the trip, Prahlad said that this would be like a second home and that was exactly true of my stay. It was my first experience of staying in a homestay, and now onwards, I plan to stay in homestays and not hotels.

This place is a a approximately 3 kms from Kasar Devi. The location is excellent if you are travelling by your own vehicle. If not, you can easily hire a scooty or bike from nearby. There are also nice cafes around. If you love walking or hiking, don't think twice.

The place is clean, airy, and nicely kept. You'll feel right in the lap of nature. Everything you need is right there. It's a great place for a staycation. Internet works well here and if there are any issues, Prahlad is a message away.

The best part of our stay was meeting Aunty and Uncle, who made us feel right at home. They are beautiful human beings, very warm and full of kindness. They treated us like an extended family. What more can one ask for! I am absolutely in awe of how hardworking and knowledgeable they are.

I fell in love with this place and the people. The locals around the homestay are also quite helpful. Hope to visit again some day. Thank you...

This homestay is about three kilometers ahead of Kasardevi temple on Binsar Road along the main road and managed by Mr. Prahlad’s parents. When I reached the homestay with my family, I had a bad stomach that day and did not have lunch, although there is no provision of food by the host on this homestay, yet looking at my health, Auntie ji fed us raagi roti with tasty kadhi in lunch and dinner also at home . It is enough to tell in itself how the host care you in this homestay. Its clean room with which the kitchen is attached , everything of your need in the washroom, availability of wifi and clear view of nanda devi snow peak mountain range makes this homestay a perfect place for your stay. When we returned, Auntiji gave us the green chillies of their home garden and local herbs to remove kidney stones. Prakriti's Nest is truly one of the few places that has everything going for it.

For people who want to experience nature, and serenity while living in a house that has all the required necessities, this is it.

The kitchen is also well stocked, and in case you need something, 1-2 grocery shops are at few min walk. There are good cafes and joints within few min drive towards Kasar Devi Temple.

The Homestay is besides a good road so no issues reaching this location. The road near the cottage is not a busy road so you don't need to worry about vehicle noise.

Connectivity is very well and that includes a high speed broadband.

The views from the cottage roofs (yes, multiple roofs to enjoy nature) are vast and beautiful. This is a great place to finish that book you are reading or writing.
