Valleyview Homestay — Hotel in Uttarakhand

We were travelling in a group of girls and from nainital to mukteshwar and on the way we booked Valley view Homestay after finding it online and it seemed a nice place but we requested the owner that first we will reach the place and then we will decide if we want to stay or not but she asked for an advance and insisted on paying it.. We asked for the details of location she shared a google location and we started the journey and turned out the homestay was in the middle of an isolated place outside of main mukteshwar city and was not at all safe for us to stay in that wilderness and isolation where there was no shops no transportation nothing. We politely asked the owner to return our advance of 2000 rs. as we didn't wanted to live there. But she refused to pay back the advance and we returned from there without staying at the property because our stay was for only 1 day and if we would have stayed there that meant going back to our place without even visiting mukteshwar which was our main destination. My request is to not misguide people by keeping main city location name but having the stay in outskirts because tourists have no idea of the place and they book on the basis of pictures only. Later on we have trouble reaching the property as there is no help. Not even localites to guide us if we get lost there... The place was good but not for people who are coming from far to visit the place and not only to spend the day and night inside the rooms. If we are traveling to a hill station we expect to visit the famous places.. which were approximately 15 kms away from the stay and one should have their own transportation to...

First what we booked for us was nt free when we checked in.. and the owner was so rude . instead of accepting mistake he said aap apne paise wapas le lo..wht to say to such irresponsible person.. we got different rooms not those wht we booked..

They take more thn 1 hr to even prepare any stuffed paratha or Sandwiches. They must keep Basic ingredients like curd few green veggies etc but none was available if u order before 1-2 hr.. we requested for bonfire with extra payment.but they didn't even have music system or speaker with it.. Location is too far from main points.. There was no wiper in my washroom.. no hand towels. Water pressure was too low .. Sir FYI u haven't included tht in our bill. And u said u r ready to give 1 day more due to mismanagement in booking by u. So we thought u r giving bonfire in place of tht offer.. why we will not pay 800 rs only ?? Think before saying anything utter nonsense.. and we were on hills .. network issue was there.. aap booking kisi aur room ki leke kisi aur ka waha stay extend kar dete ho.. aapko karna pada upgrade thts ur issue we chose wht we booked only.. and we don't have ur call recording where u said paise wapas le lo ..it's pathetic behaviour.u didn't say sorry once

Thanks for giving us the pleasure of visiting a wonderful place surrounded by nature. It was a delightful experience to explore the serene atmosphere in the company of my friends. The staff was incredibly courteous and ensured a comfortable stay.

We enjoyed delicious food during our stay, which added to the overall satisfaction. Special thanks to Satish ji and Gopal ji for taking good care of us and making our stay even more enjoyable.

While the experience was mostly positive, there were a couple of areas that need improvement. The bathroom fittings need attention, and it would be helpful to have net doors to prevent flies from entering the rooms.

Despite these minor issues, our stay was truly memorable, and I would gladly recommend this place for a tranquil stay.Would like to...
