Very mediocre. Not bad but not good too.
Places like this always create more hype than the actual quality of food they serve. The rooftop/balcony was supposed to be its main attraction, other than the brand name. But to be honest, I've had a far better experience at Hotel Ambassador Retreat than this one.
We ordered Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Kung Pao, Mix Chilly Garlic Noodles, American Chopsuey (Non veg), a couple of Lemon Sodas and Virgin Mojito. Had to end up with a mojito because they only had that and Blue Lagoon. All the other mocktails on the menu were unavailable, that too during these hot days of summer. Chicken in the lollipops were tough and fibrous. The coating wasn't good and not even spicy. Kung Pao was a disaster, overly sweet with chicken manchurian balls not cooked well, coated with a bland sauce. The noodles were okay but no strong taste of chilly or garlic. For the Chopsuey gravy, I specifically asked for a spicy red gravy, excluding prawns since I'm allergic. Even after proper instructions, they ended up bringing their own standard gravy. After re-explaining myself, the gravy was returned and I had to wait almost 30 more minutes, after which they turned up with a gravy that was so bland that it was hard for me to eat. Prices were high, as it is expected from places like this. But the quality and taste of food let us down.
Ambience was just like any other roadside food joint. And the balcony area was not clean or family friendly and is not recommended especially during hot summer days. Staff were not wearing any mask, gloves or head cap. Even while talking and taking orders, we were wearing masks but the staff weren't. Service was slow but staff were polite and apologetic.
Would not recommend anyone to visit this place, nor, I'd myself visit this place again. Unless they really amp up their standards and expect people to pay a thousand bucks for a good and memorable...

I booked two rooms at this establishment for visiting guests during my brother's wedding, a special occasion that was completely tarnished by this disastrous hotel.
I paid a total of ₹5,800 (₹2,900 x 2) for a single night's stay, and to my utter disbelief, they refused to provide a bill or receipt. This alone is a massive red flag and speaks volumes about their shady practices. To make matters worse, the receptionist informed me that the rooms didn't have keys. Yes, you read that right. No keys! This is an utterly unacceptable security breach and left my family feeling completely vulnerable.
How can any hotel operate without providing basic security for its guests?
The lack of a bill and the absence of room keys are not just inconveniences; they are serious issues that indicate a complete disregard for guest safety and legal business practices.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. There are countless other hotels and residences in the area offering far better value and, most importantly, basic security and professionalism for the same price. This hotel is a complete rip-off and a safety hazard. I strongly advise you to...
Read morePretty decent hotel, arranged family get together for 25 pax. The buffet (breakfast+Lunch+Evening snacks) were good.
Food quality and taste are very good except few exceptions like - chicken pakora and panner pakoda. Thier breakfast and lunch- Bread collection, Dal, Veggies and non veg items were fresh and delicious. I used to host my parties in Sarovar and fortune in Durgapur. I took a chance at this hotel as Rahul whom I conversed for this setup were very diligent and helpful throughout this. And I'm delighted that I have been here.
As it's a new hotel, there were glitches that the hotel team surely improve gradually. But overall its recommended. Room is spacious and up to the marks, common washrooms were clean.
Coming down Charges - it's fairly decent.
Cheers to Rahul and team for all...
