Had one of the worst experience of my life at all of my travel life. So These guys are actually Thugs When I checked in at 9 in night I personally asked whether the breakfast is complementary or is it chargeable and the Front Office staff told me that it is Complementary and it is available from 7 to 10:30 in morning so I woke up at 8 took bath reached and repacked my luggage and came down to there restaurant and asked what all is in the buffet so he asked what would you like to have so asked for some omelette and few other stuff after I was done he brought me a Bill I thought I have to sign it or something but when I opened it ....There was a Bill for 1250 yes 1250 for a breakfast they didn’t told me anything about the price of the food product didn’t showed Me any price but just a bill of 1250 then I started arguing and I said I won’t give any money but then they called out there front office staff and after a lot of arguments and talks I came down to paying at 840 for breakfast which I believe is so very unprofessional and a very bad experience. I had a tough time locating a good decent hotel to stay at Asansol. Most of them were either way too high for the budget or were not kept clean. I landed up in this hotel and found it well within budget and also clean. The rooms were large with ac. The bed was not soft and could have been better. The TV is also kind of a small screen. The washrooms were really big. However the toiletries were minimal. The best part I felt of hotel is the location. Situated in a quiet place the hotel is easily accessible from the National Highway. There is complimentary breakfast the the hotel. However it is not a buffet system. You have limited two or three options. The staff however I felt are very helpful and polite. The car parking in front of the hotel can accommodate around 15 cars at the max. The attached restaurant is small but good ambience with a large screen too. We recently dined at " Red Onion " restaurant, Asansol. Unfortunately to mention that the food ( especially the chicken biriyani ) was 2-3 days freezed and served to us after heating in microwave which appears not only stale but also lack the basic taste and freshness of food. The chicken flesh also appears to be staleThe nans served were apparently burnt. Only the starter tasted to be good and fresh. The lack of freshness in the other dishes was apparent, making the overall dining experience quite disappointing. The high cost and exorbitantly priced as compared to the quality, quantity and presentation of the food served has added insult to injury, creating a poor value for the quality received.
