The Vijay Park — Hotel in Zone 8 Anna Nagar

First point i want to tell about this hotel ( vijay park arumbakkam) this is the worst hotel and please dont trust this hotel for any kind of events. This hotel not even good and worth even for small parties too. Please dont waste your valuable to this kind of worst hotel. Managerment is very poor and they are very rude after booking hall. That worst manager dont even know how to treat the customers in ||good way silly guy .We had a reception party for my reception in this worst hotel . Before booking the hall they well behaved , they treated very well. They told that they have centralised AC that is more sufficient for all, we will keep default name board for the reception , music player will be on throught out the party , if more food needed with in 30 mins will prepare food . Two rooms will be given for bride and groom. We felt very happy about what they said. But on the day of my reception we all felt vert bad about their service. Many of my friends told not to book hall in worst hotel but we did the very same mistake. We arrived at 4:30 to the hotel but they told to wait for 1 hrs for the rooms for bride and groom. They did not cleaned up the rooms i think. After at 5 :30 only they gave me the room which is very bad Ac Condition was very bad . Ac is on but we felt very hot . Bathrooms are not cleaned. Found more cockroaches and tissue papers on the bathroom floor . Room has only one light not sufficient for dress up well. Room was also not cleaned . We informed to them but they not even listened what we are saying. Worst AC is party hall . All are asking to increase AC temperature but behave very rude. At starting of my reception they did not played a single music. My father went and ask about music for three times but no one came and played it. After we was in need for extra food . They told to give extra charges then only food will be given like that . Food menu is different from what we ordered to them before. They totally changed the menu. Very worst food except veg briyani all other food was very worst in taste. Like we dissappointed in many things. Severe action would be taken for these fraud activities. They dont even keep the name board. All my relatives searching our party more than 20 mins in the hotel itself no one has given the correct information. Very poor management. Totally money waste. They boke the trust that we kept on the name VIJAY PARK. We don't recommend this kind of hotel for anyone.||All fraud peoples working on that hotel and spoiling the name of that hotel. I booked the hotel hall for my marriage, and then I took a room 2 days before the marriage, the first room provided was having a bad pungent smell and we were keeping on hearing a noise which turned out to be a rat, when informed the reception they replied as We are in short of staff, out of 150 only 20 came so lets see

Later that afternoon, they shifted our room. where we found flying cockroach's

Their reply was, it's just a cockroach nothing else, also we just did pest control that's why. Generally pest control has to kill the pests which was not the situation.

Next we got into third room better than the other two, but the sheets were used, not cleaned. Room service were bad ‐ The food we ordered came after an hour which was cold. The staffs were not neat and clean just walked in the room with muddy shoes.

The room was charged with an extra bed, which came at night 10 PM after calling the reception several times. Then again we called several times to get a bed sheet.

The hot water was said to work only during 5.30am to 7.30am, when asked how about on the wedding day, right away came the answer that the hotel will provide us with hot water in a bucket, which takes us back 20years in 2019 3star hotel.

Since the bed sheets where not changed or washed properly, my sibling was infected and had rashes n redness on the face. When complained about the same, came the reply that if you dint like the room you can leave. Seeing the condition of my sibling we rushed to the hospital and meanwhile vacated the hotel.

On the day of marriage, we told them the function would be from 7am to 9am, the decorations were completed by 7.30am, once the guests started arriving. the chair decoration cloth colour which we selected was different from the one that they had put upon.

Also the welcome tea/coffee was given very late. The food was good but it came very late again, plus they closed the food counter early saying that's the policy.

This hotel is only outer shines

I recently had the misfortune of attending an event at a hotel banquet hall, and I must say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped foot into the venue, it became evident that this was going to be a night to forget.

The food was absolutely abysmal though the menu promised a delectable array of dishe. What we received was far from appetizing. The so-called "chicken" was overcooked and rubbery, lacking any flavor whatsoever. The vegetarian option was equally disappointing, as it seemed like an afterthought with bland and undercooked vegetables. The sides were cold and tasteless, as if they had been sitting out for hours. It was evident that no effort was put into the preparation or presentation of the food, leaving us all feeling unsatisfied and disappointed.

To make matters worse, the staff at this banquet hall were incredibly rude and unprofessional. From the moment we arrived, their lack of hospitality was evident. The event coordinator seemed disinterested and unhelpful, failing to address our concerns or accommodate our requests. The waitstaff were equally indifferent, never bothering to check if we needed anything. They were dismissive and seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than providing any sort of service.

The overall ambiance of the banquet hall was also subpar. The decor appeared outdated and worn out, giving off a rather gloomy vibe. The lighting was dim and unflattering, making it difficult to enjoy the evening. The seating arrangement was cramped, with not enough space between tables, making it uncomfortable to move around or engage in conversation.

It is truly unfortunate that this hotel failed to live up to its promises and reputation. The combination of terrible food, rude staff, and lackluster ambiance made for an utterly disappointing experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering hosting an event or attending one at this venue to look elsewhere.
