The Lobby Cafe — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Very pathetic experience!!!

Today (20/1/22) my friend and myself decided to go for breakfast buffet and selected the lobby cafe , so we tried contacting them on phone to confirm whether its functional and to cross check the availability of dishes in buffet. We travelled all the way from egmore to Arumbakkam for this breakfast buffet and after seeing the food on counter, we really got too disappointed!!! There were very few varieties of food available and Inspite of asking about Pancakes and waffles twice time to the manager before we started from home, he confidently gave us the confirmation of these two dishes availability but it wasn’t AVAILABLE when we reached there, and the interesting factor is that pancakes or waffles weren’t available since past few months. I clearly don’t understand what is the need for that manager to lie and convince us to visit the cafe when many of the dishes aren’t even available!! I have never experienced this kind of situation in my life while going out for breakfast. The service and taste of food was also below average and honestly I wouldn’t recommend to any of my friends. I wish they had kept more dishes to make customer feel worth for what they are paying and also to appoint a manager who can be HONEST to customer when they enquire about food availability through phone calls or other media of...

We went for a lunch yesterday. To start with the Hotel had a valet parking and the drivers were very receptive. We were welcomed in the lobby and directed to the restaurant. The buffet room was very serene and soothing with a good AC temperature. We made a booking the previous day and when we entered I was happy to see my name on the reservation list. That shows the professional perfection. The Buffet spread was decent with good number of starters and dessert. The price is very economical compared many many Star restaurants in Chennai. They charged only Rs.1200/- including taxes per person. The bearers were very kind and highly service oriented. They have a good lobby to sit and chat and that was very well maintained. Post the lunch we had good time at the lobby for sometime. Overall the time spent at Radha Regent was memorable. Highly recommended.

P.S : One little suggestion, The juices in the buffet can be kept in a closed jar. It was kept open. It can be unhygienic keeping it open. Management can consider...

Juz back from lunch at this place. The only thing I still remember of this place is the kind of service I experienced. The ambience is the place is good, the staff are very courteous and helpful. Shout out to Mr.Bala for taking good care of his guests.

Coming to the buffet itself, the spread is decent. Started with a non veg soup which I was desperate to get over with so that I can get started with the starters. However I was kind of disappointed as there were just 2 non veg starters and they tasted just ok.

Among the main courses, naan and gravies were good. Tried their live pizza counter. The pizza was yummy filled with chicken and cheese. Their Hyderabadi biriyani was a shame. It tasted more like tomato rice with some chicken pieces thrown in.

The dessert spread was good with a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. Loved their cheese cake and pista milkshake.
